Could benefit from good manners of staff
Nothing special to report about the hotel other than the view (which was considerably lower than what we expected it to be) but the staff were considerably rude several times. When the water was cold, I called reception and they said 'Call the maintenance men as it's not our problem'. When I requested extra pillows or asked about internet from them, they treated me very coldly like they didn't want to be bothered. Overall, not impressed by staff's hospitality. Didn't feel welcome and didn't like having to sort out cold water ourselves.

Young travelers who wanna have fun!
not what we expected
i wish there were better excursions plans, more information about local night life. If you did not book a suite or wearing an elegant dress they treat you like a bum. If you are a smoker, do not stay at this hotel, there are no smoking rooms. Rooms were nice but too small for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is not included and it's very expensive. In the summer months don't expect to be cool by the hotel air conditioning system. The only good thing was the location.

Average Hotel, Good Value
We recently returned from a short stay at the Park Inn Alexanderplatz. We needed a centrally located, clean hotel with easy access to public transport. This hotel fit the bill for cleanliness/location/access to public transport. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful either, even complimented us on practicing our German. I wasn't crazy about the Alexanderplatz area in general, it was a huge square bombarded by fast food restaurants, litter, construction and clothing stores. Being so close to the TV Tower meant mobs of tourists as well. If you are looking for romance, this isn't the location. The hotel seems suited for solo travelers as the bathrooms are a bit odd but I won't beat a dead horse there. The lobby is also a bit crazy with a Burger King but no where to buy a bottle of water. I also wasn't crazy about the bungee jump set up that went right past our window. Would I stay here again? No, it was just too Vegas for us. We are more boutique hotel people but didn't really have a choice as it was a good value for location and access to public transport.

We have stayed here before and
We have stayed here before and had a proper room and breakfast included. This time it was different: room was very small, with no separate bathroom and the breakfast was really pricy, 18 € per person. It also seems that they have now a price tag on everything, like early check-in. We thought this would have been the same deal we had before through [your website], but it was really disappointing. Not recommended to anyone, since the price-quality ratio is really low.

choose a hostel instead, you'll have a better experience
negatives: beds- uncomfortable because they have too much give and feel much older than they look. pillows (might be cultural thing)- they are small a feel like they have 1/4 the normal inside material, also they are lumpy. internet- they don't tell u on their website but internet is 18 euro/24hr which is incredibly expensive given that it's not the fastest. TV- has a few english language news channels but none of the most watched ones. Bathroom- no walls in the bathroom, just a curtain. it does have beautiful slabs of what looks like marble but no walls. Windows- they open...to a chamber that has another window which u can't open, so probably not very good for summer weather. storage space- minimal, I've seen better in a hostel cleaning staff---knocked at my door at 8am to clean... positives: location- right on the platz mini-frig- could be positive or negative. they probably charge a crazy amount for all those little things in it, but some people like that stuff. concierge- they are helpful and speak english well as do the check-in staff. Restaurant- there's a restaurant and a fast-food joint in the building which is good for people who don't want to travel much for food if they're tired.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Hackesche Höfe is about a 10-15 min walk along the s bahn line. it has good shopping and a large well known coffeeshop with free wifi if u want to avoid the cost of hotel internet. there's also the Alexa shopping center in the opposite direction which has a place with free wifi also and other shopping and a theatre.

great location
The hotel is in a great location, there are many shops and shopping malls around it. That's the only thing i am satisfied with this hotel. But the room is incredible small, i think it's the smallest room i've ever stayed in a hotel. the pillow is too soft to sleep on, even i asked the second one to put on , it was still killing my neck next morning. there is no kettle and tooth brush applied in the room so i totally doubt it's the standard of 4 stars hotel. wifi is 20 euro a day which is not worth. you can find free wifi at the shopping mall which is near the hotel.

Good location, fine breakfast
With a room on the 29th floor, we had a great view of the TV tower and the city below. We did not like the glass-walled bathroom, which limited privacy, but the bedroom section was comfortable. The location was good for museums and other tourist attractions. Although the hotel was filled with business people, we found it hospitable to tourists as well. The breakfast buffet was great.

Great Location
This hotel is very large and efficient for both leisure and business travelers. The location next to a major train station and historic sites, situates this hotel very well. The Breakfast is enormous, healthy and tasty. The concierge service was one of its weekest points. It was more like a sales department for selling you expensive sightseeing trips. They had little interest in solving personal problems. The good news is that there are lots of good information centers nearbye to get the information you might need. Being from a warmer climate air conditioning is important to us. The Air Conditioning did not work very well. They have a very unique system. This hotel overall is good value. Within easy walking distance are all price ranges of restaurants. In closing, the hotel overall enhanced our trip to Berlin!

Bungee jumping from the roof!
Modern, well appointed hotel. Offered bungee jumping from the roof or walking down the side of the building (just listen to the screams of each jumper). Amusing to watch! The conciege was knowledgeable and very helpful and the woman at the front desk was eager to help us find good restaurants. Here recommendations led us to many choices all of which were wonderful. Short walk to trams, buses, metro, and sightseeing tours. Directly across from a huge mall with a wonderful food court.

Yosoy Tapas-Bar on Rosenthaler Strabe 37, was outstanding! Small, cozy, crowded with wonderful food, outstanding wine, and an excellent friendly staff. We went there twice for dinner and when we walked in the second night they greeted us with, "welcome back"! Perfect for a slow-paced, enjoyable evening.
