A modernized piece of pre-war history at Berlin hotel
The Moevenpick Hotel Berlin offers the rare chance to stay in a piece of pre-war Berlin history. The hotel is housed in the 1914 Siemens building. Good hotel with the defects of the group's hotels
The hotel is good, close to the public transport and the main areas of Berlin. But some services are very expensive. 22 € for the buffet breakfast (why pay for three breakfast when I can eat only one) and internet access is 12 € per day for a slow connection. if your company pays the bill, that's ok. For a individual stay, that's not a good deal.

Nice place
Hotel was located close to the downtown area. Only about about a 15 minute walk t checkpoint charlie, and brandenbug gate. Hotel food was expensive. 22 euro buffet breakfast and 25 euro buffet dinner - only. Plenty of other options down the street. A performance theatre located across the street as well. Overall, would stay again, just would not eat in the hotel again.

The unthinkable charges
The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. At checkout they charged us for the entire stay in spite of the fact that we already paid [...]months before.This is the first time I use [...]and this never happened before.

Great breakfast, great staff!
Moevenpick Hotel is very convienent to the Anhalter Bahnhof station, just out the front door to your train to everywhere. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the desk staff is very helpful with English-only guests. Rooms were modern and clean, although small. Internet access 24 hours per day in the downstairs area is a plus.

Great Hotel
The hotel was really first class, laundry, Fitness Centre 24 Hour, Sauna, Hot food till 10-30pm, Can track your bill on the TV screen, All the staff were really nice and helpful. This year I have been to Dublin, Paris, Prague, (Born in Dublin) Berlin was just great and the prices were very reasonable all round.

Kurfurstendamm, 3 miles long, 50 meters wide, everything you could want, and I am a bloke. Go on the Hop-On Hop-Off tour bus.

Location a bit aside, even if close to Portsdamer place. Excellent breakfast, very nice rooms. Very friendly and helpful reception personnal, less professional in the breakfast room. Pricing somewhat high (125 EUR/room + 22 EUR/breakfast).

Great Motel: super breakfast
We found the hotel convenient to bus and metro. The breakfast buffet was out of the world. Eought food for the delicious food for the whole day. The room was spaciaous clean and modern. Wifi was not free and rather expensive. We had a great stay.

clean and accessible to everything.
very quiet room with windows opening onto courtyard. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. It was in walking distance to many museums, attractions and good dining; also subway system just a few hundred feet away. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.
