Great hotel, great prices
Have stayed in this hotel three times so far-for holiday and for business! Will stay there again next time in Berlin. Right next to Metro stop for U2 which goes straight to Potsdamer Platz and other central locations! Price is very good as is breakfast! Staff were very friendly. Only thing I could complain about was that they didn't have shoe polish at reception which some hotels have for business guests and also the price of bottle of water in room is quite pricey but they're very minor complaints!

Vapiano in Potsdamer Platz: Not a Michelin star restaurant but a a modern idea, customised food that's cheap and tastes great! Get U2 from hotel straight to Potsdamer Platz!

Leonardo hotel is a decent place
Leonardo hotel is a decent place to stay - it's clean, relatively central (depends on where you need to go but is very near a U-Bahn Station). The staff are helpful. The breakfast is huge! The only (possible) negative point is they don't have a restaurant apart from the breakfast restaurant. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Nice location.
I did a lot of sightseeing in Berlin. Being abroad, I wanted a trustworthy place at a good price. Hotel Leonardo provided both. The rooms were new. It was a nice efficiently run hotel with excellent staff.

Kufferstendamm, the major shopping street in Berlin, was less than a mile walk away. There are more reasonably priced restaurants than I could eat at in a lifetime around this area.

Texas Berliner
Good location, modern, clean, efficient
In Berlin for a conference and some vacation and the location is just great! This is an almost new business type hotel but with few foreign tourists. Very convenient location. One block away from Bus 109 stop from the airport and one block to the U2 & U7 UBahn station that leads to pretty much everything you want to see in Berlin and connections you will need. The economy room was small with a one person shower, but perfectly adequate and nicely decorated in modern style. Very clean, and great breakfast room, though a bit pricey. Nice fruit stand and bakery/ market across the street. Quiet non touristy upscale residential area, Walking distance 5 min to the Deutsche Opera. 5 minutes to the Wilmersdorfer Arcade shopping street which has everything. Very pricey wireless Internet like it is often in Germany, costing $200 for the 14 days I was there

berlin beauty
not in the bustle area of berlin but still lively and location can be accessed by public transportation, a lot of students used hotel so free wifi busy all the time (no free wifi available from own notebook), neighborhood good nice shopping and a quick busride to Tegel airport

A nice clean hotel just outside
A nice clean hotel just outside central Berlin. Nice modern rooms with everything we needed for a short stay. Helpful staff, and the free internet access was a bonus. Metro station is just outside the hotel, so access to the city centre is not difficult. We were impressed with our stay at this hotel, and price was great. We recommend this hotel, and would return if in Berlin again.

Disappointed in Berlin
Leonardo Hotel Berlin - near Tegel
Very uncomfortable beds, noisy lobby - filled with travel bus tourists, limited private parking, so you had to find public parking on the street, shower was difficult to use - would never stay in another Leonardo hotel.

Very good Italian restaurant Don Giovanni next to Opera House (2 and 1/2 blocks from hotel) - for those who are tired of sausages and sauerkraut.
