Enjoyable stay
The location is very convenient to all the major attractions. Berlin wall is just minutes away by walk. The staff is very polite, courteous, and go out of their way to help. We cannot say enough good things about them. Couple of suggestions for improvement. (a) It will be good to have cable channel CNN in the room. (b) It seemed that the water in the shower stall was draining somewhat slowly. It may be good to check this out.

First time to Berlin
nice staff - good location
Nice, convenient hotel, very close to East Side Gallery. The free train pass helped get us on our way quickly especially since the hotel is pretty much inside a large train station. The front desk staff spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful with recommendations. The rooms were nice. This is a good hotel, which was reasonably priced.

Great rooms, great prices
The convenient location and good price made this hotel a winner. Located right at Ostbahnhof metro station, made it easy to get anywhere in the city in minutes. Located right next to the largest piece of the old Berlin Wall which is now a blocks long open air art gallery. We had free public transportation passes from the hotel -not sure if that was standard, I think it was for prepaying online, but they were a great deal! No muss, no fuss to get around town. Only complaint would be a lack of free wifi.

Intercity Hotel Berlin - fine for a night
Booked this for one night at the end of a Bike/Barge trip in Early June. Hotel very convenient at the Ostbanhof train station. Great if you are lugging baggage. Didn't get the room I needed and asked for when booking online. Room did not have A/C which was even a bit of a hassle in the cooler weather, but not too bad. beds typical European with firm mattress, just a duvet sheet and really sad pillows. Bathroom sufficient and good shower head. No room to relax in room, just bed and chair. Charge for wireless which was weak anyway. Staff was very helpful and courteous and fluent in English. Restaurant/bar was closed for the evening due to a private function which was a bit inconvenient as we just wanted to eat and crash. But staff pointed to a great spot that was just a few train stops away so it worked out fine. Right next to the east side gallery which was worth seeing (street art on the wall that's still standing) and was perfect to do before we checked out the next morning. Lots of conveniences with the fairly large train station. Didn't notice any train noise at night either.

Awesome!
This hotel has a great location - right inside the Ostbahnhof which allows you to get in and out of town easily! Clean rooms, friendly staff - great for singles, couples, friends!

Super Hotel für Kurztrips
Hotel direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten rasch per Zug erreichbar. Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet (TV, kleiner Safe, Föhn). Wir haben ein Nahverkehrsticket für die Dauer des ganzen Aufenthalts erhalten - Super praktisch! Das Hotel ist ideal für Kurztrips! Einziges Manko; mangelnder Informationsfluss in Ausnahmesituationen - wir hatten während unseres Trips ein Feueralarm um 03:00 Uhr morgens und dann nochmals um 04:00 Uhr morgens und hatten keine Ahnung was los war (zum Glück war dies, wie sich herausstellte, nur ein Fehlalarm) - dennoch blieb uns das Hotel sehr positiv in Erinnerung!

Perfekt bas att ta sig runtomkring i Berlin via tunnelbana
Hotellet ligger inuti Ostbahnhof direkt i anslutning till tunnelbana, snabbmatställen och livsmedelsbutiker. Tunnelbanekort ingick vilket var ytterligare ett plus. Inget särskilt finns dock i området omkring men läget gör ändå att det är snabbt att ta sig runt i Mitte, till Alexanderplatz, restauranger o klubbar runtom i Kreuzberg och Friedrichshain. Minus att internet ej ingår, meningslös minibar.

sehr günstig gelegen für Benutzer öff. Verkehrsmittel. Sauber, zweckmässig ohne unnötigen Luxus. Werde ich wieder buchen.
