All was very well - actually in the first moment we were not sure that this very good hotel is our for so good price, location, cleanliness etc. :) Parking is a a little not enough for all hotel cutomers, but overall very recomended hotel ;)

Facilities like spa charged for and some not work. a bit too far out of Berlin to make tourism easy. comfortable and quiet place to stay.

the place is outside of city limits, mosquitoes like crazy, no AC, no Fan, very expensive hotel dinner, very expensive breakfast.

the walk stinks after a few days
for the most part this wasn't a bad deal but if you are planning on staying in Berlin for more than a few days and are not rentting a car the walk to the train stop at Birkenstein starts to suck. For me i like to go out and see the sites then come back to the hotel take a shower rest a little and head back out for dinner and pubs but i found myself walking 8 miles a day to do this with this hotel too and from the train stop. Then when you get to Birkenstain train stop it's a 40min ride to the center of Berlin plus the trains stop running a 1:30 am so its hard getting back to the hotel. Also if you are flying into TXL airport it's a $60.00 taxi to the hotel. the bus that they talk about, to take you to the train stop runs like every hour so if you wait for that then wait for the train then 40min ride to berlin you have killed almost 3 hours of your trip to site see just getting there.

Superb hotel
Enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. There is a cozy pub in the basement. This was certainly a bargain. The only drawback was that one needs a car to access the train into the center of the city.

Wenn man kein Problem damit hat sich für 20 Min. in die S-Bahn zu setzen,um was erleben zu können,dann kann man das Hotel echt empfehlen.Verbindungen zum S-Bhf sind unproblematisch.

Moyen de chez moyen
estampillé **** (système RDA ??), l’hôtel est correct. Les chambres propres et bien chauffées l'hiver même si chaque lit ne dispose en tout et pour tout que d' une simple couette. La TV (à tube cathodique) ça eu des soucis. Demande (en Allemand) a été faite par écrit pour réparation...Sans suite le reste du séjour. Le personnel a été compétent pour renseigner le touriste. Mais nous a présenté en fin de séjour 1 facture mentionnant la totalité des nuitées à régler sans vérifier notre dossier (payées auprès du voyagiste)... 2 Parkings jouxtent l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner continental copieux (10€) et trajet vers Berlin (Alexander platz) très facile à mémoriser: tout droit, tout droit, tout droit... Bref, hôtel correct, chaque aile est insonorisée mais pas de quoi être classé 4 * !

Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber
Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber mit dem Fahrrad war es kein Problem, die nchste S-Bahnstation zu erreichen. Guter Standort fr Radtouren um den Mggelsee.
