good value for money
Staying at the Berlin hotel was very satisfactory. The hotel room was spacious that I expected. The breakfast was also very good. In particular, its location is really awesome. - only 15 minutes by taxi to Tegel Airport - only 15-20 minutes by bus to main attractions (the bus stop is right next to the hotel) - variety of resaurants and bars are located in walking distance.

Spacious comfortable room
Hotel Berlin is a much ritzier place than I thought it would be. The room was large and spacious. The LCD TV in the room featured the English language CNBC channel ammong others so I could watch in real time how the stock markets in the US were performing just as if I was at home. The lobby featured a chic bar and restaurant as well.

Short walk from hotel
In case you have some time to do some sightseeing, bus #100 stops right next to Hotel Berlin. Hop on board as it stops by most of the major tourist sites in Berlin. No need to pay over 10 euro for a sightseeing tourist bus when the you can ride bus 100 for less than 3 euro.

The hotel is immaculate. Air conditioning, great location. Quiet. Package deal with Cheaptickets was fantastic!!! Very happy with our flight with United.

Breakfast was $25 at the hotel Berlin, Berlin. We went down the street five minutes to Holiday Inn Express om Kurfurstenstrasse and had a great breakfast buffet for $11.

Quality for a snip
Went for the sights and life of the city. The hotel was excellent in all areas.Cannot find any fault especially at the rates being asked. Easily recommend Berlin to all and this hotel as an ideal base to explore it from.

Excellent clean facilities and rooms. Reception staff outstandingly polite and helpful. Breakfast was superb - everything you can imagine was available. The choice was endless. Probably the best hotel I have stayed in.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms,
Very nice hotel, clean rooms, and funky decor. Closely located to a transit stop and within a 15 minute walk of Zoo station (subway). Overall this was a very good stay. My only slight complaint was that we did have to walk a bit of distance to find restaurants - not too far, mind you (5-10 minutes), but there really is not a lot of shops, cafes, or restaurants located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

This is the second time we stayed
This is the second time we stayed at Hotel Berlin. It is a very large somewhat impersonal hotel but that is not a problem. There are often large travel groups or business meetings going on. BUT the rooms are terrific and quiet. Others comment on the use of liquid soap containers in the bathrooms but this is fine. The TV is amazing with its number of English channels. The location is perfect with a 100 bus (goes all over) with 100meters and the Ubhan about 2 blocks away. The breakfasts were excellent but not included. The hotel staff was fantastic. No downside to this hotel. I would stay again and plan to do so!!!
