Disappointed
Surprised that Holiday Inn would be associated with this hotel. It is close to the airport, which is what got me there, but it is an old hotel, very small rooms, with dark carpets that don't give it a clean look, exercise room is a joke, and they get you for every breath you breathe. It is not a city hotel but they still whack you for Parking, whack you for the Internet (not unusual in Germany), etc.

The HOT hotel
The room was very warm and the air conditioning didn't hardly work. I traveled with family and the other three rooms had the same problems. They were in different floors. We had to wake up early for a flight and I had trouble sleeping due to the heat.

This hotel is located close to the Tegel airport but it is not in a very good neighborhood lot's of graffiti all over the place.

Out of the way and expensive for tourist
The Berlin City West hotel is an okay hotel if you are a business traveler. It's close to the airport and since your company is paying for your stay and incidentals, it's okay to pay outrageous prices for breakfast and drinks. If you are a tourist on vacation, it's not a very good hotel. It's out of the way of the major Berlin attractions. It charges 18 euros for breakfast, and there are no vending machines in the hotel and there are no convenience stores open after 6 p.m.

great location fot traveling
Great location, near Tegel airport. They let us check in early so we could rest after the long flight. I would strongly recommend for business travellers who will be flying in and out of Berlin.

Nice Hotel
Very close to hotel. The staff was very friendly. The restraurant was ok. Make sure you know you have to book in advance for pick up to/from airport.

quick, quiet, clean
Berlin City West was quick to have shuttle available for pick up from TXL. The hotel staff were efficient in getting you through the checkin process. I had arrived on a morning flight from the USA, and was pleased to be allowed to my room that morning. The room was clean and quiet. I recommend this hotel.

Very Relaxing
Holiday Inn BERLIN CITY - WEST, BERLIN,was a wonderful stay after traveling thru Europe for the last few weeks. Large Bathtub, very large comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and absolutely polite. Very Relaxing visit.
