no AC burning room
I thought that I have a complimentary breakfast and wireless but they told me that I dont//And no AC..I am totally disappointed!

An Okay Stay @ Mark Meineke
Syayed at Mark Meinke for one nite on a wkend getaway train trip to Berlin while working in Poznan, Poland. Room not modern, but was comfy, had all the conveniences & some character and ambience. Good location...a 5 min walk to the Kurfurstendamm blvd/shopping district!

Grand Hotel City Center / Mark Hotel
Nice hotel, excellent location and friendly staff! But it was a bit complicated to find: in my [...] reserv.confirmation it was named "Grand Hotel City Center" and also "Hotel Berlin Sun". Actually on the front side of the hotel, the sign says "Mark Hotel Meineke".

Short walk from hotel
Tasty, smaller and less expensive breakfast at I.O.Express cafe, in the corridor opposite to Lidl-store. Scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, bread, butter, marmalade and coffee. Worth a try!

Comfortable and Restful
While we were at this hotel, we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. It was a bit of a long walk to the bus stop but there was plenty to do in the near vicinity. It was rather confusing that they changed their name from Grand City to Mark Hotel Meineke after we had made the reservations. At the entrance, there is an impressive staircase and beautifully painted walls.

Good location, clean rooms...
Great location, center of "western" Berlin Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Hotel lobby (reception desk) was a bit hard to find. Public area not so attractive... No free wi-fi.

Location of hotel is excellent,
Location of hotel is excellent, but it is very dated and tired. A tasteful renovation would make this a great hotel and a memorable experience. Staff were good, efficient and diligent.

Great location
We arrived at this hotel to be told that there was a problem with our room so we would have to stay at another hotel for the first night. The other hotel was very far out from the centre of Berlin and was above a nightclub so was very noisy. It was not what we paid for, however they did pay for a taxi to get there, provided us with free breakfast on the first morning and upgraded our room which was very considerate of them. This hotel itself is in a great location and very central. The room was very spacious and clean and the staff were all very helpful. Overall, a great stay.

Short but incredible stay in Berlin
It was in a historic neighborhood in Berlin right off Kurfurstendamm straus, but everything in Berlin is pretty historic looking to someone from the states. Rooms were super clean and the beds were really comfy. Skate shop on the same block called Titus which was a great plus, but there was plenty of other shopping around the hotel. I have nothing bad at all to say about the hotel except that the internet was down the entire time I was there(4 days).

perfect location 2 doors away
perfect location 2 doors away from Hard Rock Cafe, just off the main road,very close to station, staff friendy and helpful, room spacious and clean, found bathroom to be exceptionaly spotless. I will definitely recommmend anyone to stay at the hotel

Everything about this hotel was
Everything about this hotel was wonderful except for the shower recess. Our room had the biggest bathroom and the smallest shower recess - we could not close the doors and shower there was just no room and we are not big people. Great locatin and within walking distance to most everything. Would stay here again.
