The hotel is located in a quiet
The hotel is located in a quiet street. The location is, however, not very convenient - quite a walk to the nearest U-bahn station, and the immediate vicinity is not overloaded with attractive shopping / eating places. KaDeWe is no less than 10 minutes of fast walk away. The breakfast is second to none - really! The staff are helpful in a non-obtrusive, no-nonsense sort of way. They speak reasonable English. The room is comfortable. Air conditioning can be a bit noisy, but as the room is really large, it may be left off without risking suffocation. The bathroom is particularly large, but not very convenient. There is a bathtub, and the glass screen leaks - after a quick shower (which I prefer) there is a large puddle of water on the floor. I have also noticed some traces of mildew or the like at the corners. The place could do with some correcting touches. Overall, however, for me it was a nice, no-problem place to stay, with above-average value for money.
