After seeing photos of the hotel online, I thought the Ellington would be a great choice. However, upon checking in and seeing the room, which was in desperate need of (1) a deep clean and (2) fresh paint, I decided I couldn't spend the night there and immediately checked out. The room I was given looked like it was straight out of a youth hostel. Not good.

Hyvä sijainti on tärkeää
Sisustus oli kummallinen siten, että suihku oli melkein keskellä makuutiloja samoin kuin pesuallas, siis eivät kylpyhuoneessa, verhot piti vetää tiiviisti kiinni, kun oli suihkussa. Huone oli muuten siisti ja tilava, mutta pöytä, joka halkoi huoneen, oli outo. Henkilökunta ihan ok, mutta puhuivat epäselvästi. Sijainti oli erinomainen, aamiainen, joka ei kuulunut hintaan, vaan maksoi 20 euroa, oli hyvä.

Kaunis hotellihuone
Huone oli siisti ja remontoitu ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Huoneen ja suihkun välissä oli vain lasiovi, joten en suosittele huonetta esim työkavereiden yhteiselle yöpymiselle. Hotellin aamiainen oli runsas, mutta myös melko kallis. Hotelli sijaitsee hiljaisemmalla kadulla, mutta kuitenkin lähellä ravintoloita ja kauppoja.

Tolles Hotel
Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in Berlin und im Ellington Hotel. Nur das Frühstück war realtiv teuer.

Sanitärbereich absolut ungenügend
Dusche zum Zimmer hin offen. Sehr eng am Waschbecken. Alles offen - keine private Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Geräusche am/ vom WC sind nicht isoliert (dünne Glasscheibe zum Raum) Frühstück für 20€ p.P. zu teuer.

Schönes, ruhiges Zimmer
Alles war top ausser die Toilette, die roch stark nach abgestandenem Rauch, obwohl es ein Nichtraucherzimmer war. In diesem Zimmer fehlt ein Schrank für die Kleider.

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen
Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen genau getroffen. Schade war lediglich dass das Frühstück mit € 19,00/p.Pers. noch mal oben drauf gekommen ist. Wir haben uns daher entschieden ausserhalb zu frühstücken.
