- Since the end of May 2008, the guests will be provided with the most modern conference room options upon a total space of 740 sqm. The Derag Hotel Knigin Luise in Berlin is opening five new conference rooms as well as three group rooms. Thus, now, the guests have the possibility of carrying out individual events and conferences of the highest technical level upon overall space of 740 sqm. The new rooms are quite suitable for large events as well as banquets or showrooms. Indeed, there is even enough room for extravagant auto shows. As required, the new event and group rooms, which all have windows and are fully temperature-controlled, can be placed together in a customised fashion for seminars and celebrations: They are between 20 sqm and 200 sqm in size and make possible flexible room combinations with individual seating for up to 200 persons. The rooms are equipped with the most modern of professional event technology.

The hotel is a little out of the core, 15-20 mins tram ride. The tram does run very regularly though. The rooms are very basic, don't expect anything fancy at all but you get what you pay for. Dislikes: wifi in the room was very poor. Breakfast was not edible but the coffee was good. There aren't any cafe around the hotel, they do have a restaurant on site but we did not try it. There is a really good and cheap restaurant one tram stop away that I would recommend.

Stayed for 5 days here and were quite happy with the price / performance ratio. If you don't mind a 10 minutes train travel (M4) to Alexanderplatz, the hotel's price is worth the effort. Together with the well priced room rate, we got free usage of all of the Berlin public transportation, an ideal combination and well appreciated. The room was in standard for a 4 star hotel, no free wifi available and the parking in the street not recommended.

The hotel was nice
The hotel it's self was nice but the area wasn't the best. Being a single young male it was ok for me. At night it doesn't give off the best place to walk around. I found the staff unfriendly to Americans or just english speaking people. They seemed to be bothered by me anytime I talked to them and ready to walk away in a question. Someone else would come up to them speaking german and they got smiles. Most of the people in the area were freindly, just not the staff that should be treating you nice.

Short walk from hotel
To use a iternet cafe a cheap one was by and the S-bahn to the heart of the stuff in Berlin is close. The shops arounf the hotel were more affordable than at the heart of the Berlin attractions.

Alles Bestens
Wir waren mit allem sehr Zufrieden. Die gegend dort ist sehr ruhig das richtige um sich zu erholen. Das ganze Hotel ist wirklich sehr zu emfehlen!

Auch die lage ging noch,wir sind mit der Straßenbahn (ca.300m vom Hotel) zum Alexanderplatz gefahren.

Schönes und gut gelegenes Hotel
Schönes und gut gelegenes Hotel am Rande von Berlin.Zimmer waren in Ordnung und das Programm drumherum war sehr groß.Frühsück war uns zu teuer aber in Berlin gibt es ja genug möglichkeiten.Das Hotel Luise ist auf jedenfall Weiter zu empfehlen für jeden der ein Paar Tage nach Berlin möchte.Auch wenn wir keine Kinder haben können wir sagen das es Kinderfreundlich ist.

Ein relativ vernüftiges Hotel

Sehr schöne Lage aufgrund der
Sehr schöne Lage aufgrund der Nähe zum Weißensee und den dortigen Park. Klasse auch die "Mini-Küche". Gerne werden wir wieder dort oder in einem anderen Hotel dieser Kette ein Zimmer buchen. :-)
