very good value for money
Wonderful location, close to KaDeWe and within easy reach of the U-Bahn and dropping off/ picking up areas for the hop on/ hop off bus tours. Very friendly and helpful staff. There were only 2 things not ideal; the bathrooms could have done with soap dispensers in the shower as well as by the sink and the building was undergoing building work on the facade. I would go there again.

The kiosks in the stations were great for getting really cheap Bretzels and other bakery items, so a good breakfast substitute. Vapiano's is a really good quality reliable restaurant to eat at; there are about 4 in Berlin and they pour a very generous 2 dl of wine!! (self-service but great ambiance).

A standard hotel
Regardless of other feelings, the location of this hotel is deadly perfect. Under your feet, there are a lot of stores. Also, the traffic is also very convenient. Tram , Bus, Subway is less in 100 meters. It would take only 10 min to walk to the biggest terminate station of "zoo" . The bed is not good enough. When you just come in the room, you could smell a tiny stink. WIFI is available but not for free. Briefly, the value is good. If you want to look for a place to have a sleep, this is a very good choice.

Friendly staff with a clean and warm room. Not ideally located for tourism but mall shopping and U/S Bahn nearby.

5th Avenue in Berlin
Hotel was located in the heart of the shopping district akin to 5th Avenue, Mag Mile or Rodeo Drive. Very Hip space with very helpful staff. Free Internet in the lobby. Five minute walk to two main subway stations. At street-level, entrance is a bit hidden, but any taxi driver will know the place once they are given the address.

Good Job
Staff was helpful, friendly and english was good. The hotel was tucked away and is simple. I was very impressed. In the heart of the shopping area and not far from city center. Great location. The rooms was good. Could use a microwave and firmer pillows. Otherwise goood job Berliner Hof.

Modern, sparse interior
Metro location the zoological park allows easy access to almost all of Berlin. Got panhandled by several people near hotel, due to it's tourist location. Beds were a little hard. [...]

Ideal situation, close to Zoo
Ideal situation, close to Zoo station for connection to airport, very nice English speaking staff, spacious room with kitchenette, kettle and fridge, comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere. Will stay there again.
