Looks can very deceiving
The hotel was not in good condition as compared to how it is shown on their website. Very dark corridors, mirrors placed to make it look larger than it is but also making it easy to walk into after checking in after a long flight. Virtually no storage areas for clothing when unpacked! Once small (and it was the largest) cabinet with a hinged door was broken making it wasy to fall off...it was reported to the front desk staff and no one ever came to the room to fix it. Website states LCD TV's in all the rooms; which is fine but they neglect to tell you that if you wish to watch any television, you much pay additinally for it! What? I didn't care for this VERY, VERY small room at all.

gay friendly hotel
Really is very comfortable, the staff is super friendly, but if you want to exercise the gym is only five machines, we gays look good and this gym is not for nothing, but the location of the hotel is great, the security is good and best of all is that everything is close.

Great ambiance
The hotel is in a great section of previous West Berlin in Schoeneberg. It's close to the gay bars in the neighborhood and a relatively short distance to the current city center, which is in previous East Berlin (Mitte). The hotel has a great ambiance - fitness center, wet and dry sauna, and whirlpool are located together[...] Some of the other comments are true - the inside ledge along the bathtub needs to be dammed with a towel to redirect water into the tub instead of on the floor; there's no pool (yet?); rooms are on the small side with a few hangers for an open closet - though the room doesn't seem too small with the use of space; and the TV and internet are on the slow side. But I didn't expect, but liked, the image on TV menu screen [...] Overall it's a great place to stay, and if you get a good rate early, it makes it even better.

good location, small SPA, good breakfast (if it incluse in your room room rate !) greate bads, but very small rooms please note, clear red glass wall between bath room to the room !.

Very clean hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. I had never visited Berlin before so I was a bit apprehensive about where to find the nightlife, good restaurants, etc. The front desk staff were so helpful that I was truly able to enjoy myself with no stress about being in a strange city.

Fantastic for Gay people
The hotel was fantastic, but preferrable to gay men. It this does not bother you it is heavenly for the price.

Nice Getaway in Berlin
Hotel was really quite nice. The staff was amazing and the location was fairly close to a Ubahn station and a square with nice restaurants and shopping. Hotel is close to a shopping district but also quant little shops. Everything was nice, but room was a little small. I expected European style, but there was not even room for me to put my suitcase comfortably in the room. I would definitely stay again though. Not recommended for Children.

Lots of great shopping just a few blocks away including the department store and other clothing and speciality shops. Easy walk and very English friendly.
