We booked "unknowing" and only chose the Hotel because it had breakfast included. What a wonderful surprise when we arrived. The Hotel was clean and very smart, the Staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast had an unbelievable amount of choice with unlimited quantities! The location was such a bonus as the U-Bahn (underground) was right outside the front door and bus stops including sightseeing buses a 5 minute walk away. We purchased Berlin Welcome Cards from the Hotel which gave us so many free travel options and discounts in various sights and restaurants. There were many shops and restaurants around the immediate area although we did enjoy the meal we treated ourselves to one night in the Hotel restaurant. We just could not afford to do it every day! We did wonder if it would be noisy being a City Centre Hotel but we found it all very peaceful at night although very bustling and lively by day as it is virtually next door to Check Point Charlie. We plan to visit Berlin again next year and will definitely be booking into this Hotel again.

I was visiting Berlin and this hotel offered a fantastic location that managed to be quiet and safe, as well as being a few steps away from the subway station.

Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding zeer goed. Prima kamer, luxe ontbijt, prettig personeel. 4 steren zeker waard. Ligging tov centrum OK. Loopbaar naar centrum, bovendien 40 meter vanaf de metro.

U6のコッホシュトラッセ駅から、チェックポイントチャーリーの逆方向へ歩いて１分位で、観光にはとても便利です。表通りにはミニスーパーや文房具店、裏通りにはスーパーもあり、スーパー系のちょっとしたモノをゲットするにも便利です。朝食のレストランも明るく、充実していました（ウエイターはあまりまじめな感じがしない人もいましたが）。禁煙の部屋をリクエストしたのですが、初日は喫煙可の部屋でした（ただし、幸い、前の人が吸っていなかったのか、部屋が新しいためか、タバコの匂いはしませんでした。また。フロントの人は 切です）。喫煙可の部屋は上層階で、朝日も差し込んでくるのですが、禁煙の部屋は低層階のせいか、なかなか朝日が差し込まず、ちょっと暗い感じがしました（季節は９月初めです）。ただ、ヨーロッパの人は直射日光に弱いので、これくらいの方が逆にいいのでしょう。
