Location good, price is good in
Location good, price is good in low season but very high in high season. I stayed in a dorm with bath but this was not so practical. Next time, if I stay, I may choose a drom without bathroom inside. Shared bathrooms are ok, too.

This is a perfectly good choice
This is a perfectly good choice for groups - families and young people or even a little older - who wish to be out all day and simply need a safe and clean place to sleep. The beds are very comfortable for bunk beds, and the shower water is hot and has good pressure. when we were there, buses of teengers came every day, and talked loudly n the evening and morning, but the nights were quiet. Excellent location for every mode of transport, and next to cheap but good restaurants and bakeries. Great choice!

Eli Roth'd be disappointed - it's nice
The All-In was a decent place to stay in the former East Berlin. It was a hostel, which is an experience that everyone should have at least once to truly know the depth and breadth of travel. The rooms came in two flavors, of which mine was a larger one. Though the beds seem to be mostly bunk beds indicating a capacity of 8, the number of occupants was capped at 4, which was a good thing, especially given the heat. The mattresses were remarkably comfortable, and the linens appeared to be clean. The showers are shared, as are the bathrooms, and both the mens' and womens' (per my wife) facilities were well-maintained. The showers were very nice, with adequate hot water. These reminded me of my college dormitory, only they were actually cleaner than the old college dorm. There is a reception desk where drinks and other amenities can be purchased, as can additional towels and linens. They were also very helpful with directions and maintaining order. The breakfast is served upstairs, and was very well-stocked and maintained, which was a good thing, because the hostel was to near-capacity, so the crowd coming through was impressive. The only real negative I found was that the windows don't open up but a little bit. The problem with that is it's impossible to get a good breeze blowing through the room, and so with the lack of air conditioning, and the high temperatures outside (Berlin was in the middle of a frightful heat wave), sleep came hard. It was possible to get a little bit of a breeze going if the door to the hallway was open, but that gave open access to the room, so it wasn't a workable plan. A fan, or the ability to rent one, would have helped greatly. All in all I'd say that if I was still on the sunny side of 30 and on a trip, it would be a great place to stay. With a family, I liked them getting the experience, but I'd only want to be there at a time when it wasn't so hot. The 2 year-old didn't enjoy the heat at all, and she shared the lack of satisfaction accordingly, so I'd say that children should be at least school-age before staying there.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Purchase a Berlin City ticket at the Tegel airport when you arrive (I assume you can at the other airport as well) for your use during your stay, unless you're planning on doing a lot of walking. most of the traditional Berlin attractions will be at least a subway ride away. When you buy it, you need to stamp it on your first ride to validate it. Some will tell you to just go on the transit and test your luck, but if you're caught riding without a ticket the fine is 40 Euros, which is far more than you'd spend on the city card.

The place and price were extremly
The place and price were extremly excellent. Only parking outside of the facility was our concerne. Nevertheless thank zou very very much for allowing us to spend time in Berlin. See you later.

After booking a double / twin
After booking a double / twin room we were given a 6 bed dorm room to ourselves which was ok but had we been older guests might not have been suitable. But the hostel was in a good (cheap) area with good transport links to all parts of the city.
