The Bora Bora Pearl beach resort & Spa, member of the leading small hotels of the world is located on Motu Tevairoa facing the island of Bora Bora. It offers a place to luxuriate in the peace of tranquillity of the magical surroundings with unsurpassed views on the world renowned Mount Otemanu. This traditional Polynesian style hotel is located 10 minutes by private boat from the airport and 15 minutes from Vaitape, the main village of Bora Bora. It offers 50 overwater bungalows, 10 beach suites and 20 garden pool suites. All feature ceiling fan, air conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, mini bar, hairdryer, safety box, iron and table, magnifying mirror, 20" LCD satellite television with DVD player, IDD telephone, CD player. In addition, the over water bungalows have glass tables to view the aquatic life of the lagoon, a large sundeck and sitting area with direct access to the water. The Beach suites offer a lounge area facing the beach and a private enclosed garden with Jacuzzi. The garden & premium pool suites feature a tropical garden, plunge pool and a covered sitting & resting area. Beside the hotel's overwater bungalows is a coral nursery called To'a Nui. Since the creation of the nursery more than 70 species of fish have settled and developed in this unique environment. The park allows a colony of 4000 corals to regenerate in perfect ecological conditions. There's also an on site diving center, a fresh water swimming pool, one floodlit tennis court, mini golf, table tennis, volley ball court and a wide variety of activities and excursions. The Manea Spa covers an area in 675 sq meters and combines traditional Tahitian architecture with state of the art equipments and facilities: 2 double and 2 single massage rooms, 1 VIP Spa Suite, 1 double Vichy shower, 1 beauty & tattoo saloon, 2 saunas, 2 steam bath and a fully equipped fitness room. The property also offers airport transfer, baby sitting service, banquet facilities, bar, billiards, business centre, concierge, conference facilities, currency exchange, disabled facilities, doctor on call, gift shop, gym/ fitness facilities, internet access-high speed, laundry service, lobby, library, non smoking rooms, reception, restaurant, room service-24hrs, safe deposit box, secretarial services, spa services (massage, facial, steam room etc, etc.), tour desk and wedding chapel. NOTE: There's a 1.26 Euro per person per night (Local tax), will be charged by Hotel at Check-Out.

Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Rooms

Overwater Bungalow: Overwater Bungalow has two twin beds or one king bed. The overwater bungalows are 61 square meters each (657 sq. feet). All offer a very spacious bathroom area with a separate shower and a full size bath tub. The vanity area and the bath tub feature glass table tops to look into the lagoon. The well appointed bedrooms all provide a king size bed facing the lagoon. The glass bedside tables and the glass coffee table in the center of the room enable guests to admire the colorful underwater life of the lagoon from the comfort of the bedroom. From the outdoor terraces, one can enjoy a magnificent view over the lagoon. The terrace features a deck with lounge chairs, a private sheltered sitting area, in addition to a lower sundeck with a fresh water shower and easy stairs into the lagoon.
Premium Overwater Bungalow: Premium overwater bungalows have the best views of Mount Otemanu ( directly opposite) and also feature views of the coral reef and sunset. The premium Overwater Bungalow has two twin or one Kind bed.
Garden Pool Suite: Garden Pool Suite has one king bed and one twin bed. Special efforts have been undertaken to recreate the feeling of a traditional "fare" (home) for these bungalows. They offer a private world for guests and extend the same services and amenities as the all other suites. The garden pool, which are air-conditioned, offer a large tropical garden area as well as a private plunge pool in each bungalow. The suite offers air conditioning, ceiling fan, IDD phone, fully stocked mini bar, complimentary coffee/ tea making facilities, individual in-room safe.
Beach Suite with Jacuzzi: Beach Suite with Jacuzzi has two twin beds or one king bed. The hotel features 10 Beach suites located at the edge of the beach and all with air-conditioning. Each suite is designed with privacy in mind by including an enclosed garden area with a private full-size outdoor Jacuzzi, a wooden terrace and a sundeck. The bathroom is naturally and elegantly integrated in the enclosed garden area. The large bedroom offers a king size bed facing the lagoon and Mount Otemanu and opens onto a third area in the bungalow, the living room, which has direct access to the beach. The living room is cleverly designed to provide a quiet, sheltered space in the afternoon and a romantic setting in the evening and always offer the dazzling view of the water and the mountain. In this room, the sofa can also be added to comfortably accommodate a third person.

Restaurant and Bar: The hotel has three restaurants and 2 bars. The Fare Ambrosia is an Italian restaurant open for dinner (reservation only), the Tevairoa propose a French Polynesian cuisine and different types of buffets with entertainment (local dance shows). The Miki-Miki is Pool restaurant which is open for lunch proposing comfort food and local fishes. The bar Taurearea is open every night and has live local bands three nights a week.

The Bora Bora Pearl Resort & Spa

The Bora Bora Pearl Resort & Spa is a great hotel, overall. The beach is amazing, really sandy (different from other places in Polynesia where there are so many coral gardens you cannot even walk in barefoot, let alone swim). We stayed in a standard overwater bungalow, and I felt the bungalows are starting to look a little tired around the corners - I stayed in a deluxe OWB at the Manihi Pearl Beach Resort and it had just undergone renovation, felt really fresh). Of course, that is because I pay a great deal of attention to maintenance details. Other than that, it was the best choice within that price range. While there, I had a look at other more expensive properties (Four Seasons, St. Regis, Hilton). Those may be way more expensive than the Pearl, and I was very pleased to realize I made the right choice. Would certainly recommend, and will definitely stay there again.
