Great staff and locaton
No pool and no beach. Wish they had some place to lounge in the sun. But, a very friendly staff and you can walk to the airport. It is a short walk and down hill. Some steps make liuggage a problem, but solveable. I would stay there again the last day prior to leaving for a late evening plane.

OK for overnight
Just a short way from the airport, walking distance, but up several flights of steps and a steep driveway. No elevator. Yes there is a coffee/tea maker in the room but no coffee is provided. Some of the front desk staff were helpful, others were rude. No leeway on check-in time. I would recommend to able-bodied friends but only for an overnight stay near the airport.

Convenienient location in spades
It is a bit of a hassle getting your stuff up the hill, if you are walking, but the accommodations are ok and the place is clean. No bargain, but the room is clean and if you get a room on the east side the view is awesome. The A/C is barely adequate, and they keep it off till you get in the room, so you broil when you arrive in the PM. A/C never got the temp below about 75 degrees, but that was acceptable. I do not want to bag on the place too much as the rooms are clean, the showers are fine, and the beds are adequate. Take the bus from town rather than a cab and save a bundle. Bus is about $1.50

Restaurant Ocean has awesome Chineese food at very reasonable prices. ONE dish is adequate for two people approx 1500 XPF plus a side of plain rice 300 XPF. For about $20 US two can eat

Close to airport, bus and rental cars
Not the ritz, but Nice staff, free parking, fresh croissants in the morning for breakfast. Very miserly on power use. Our room was hot as heck on arrival, and it took and hour for the A/C to be effective.

Great for a stopover
We spent only 5 hours at the hotel during a brief overnight stopover. It's really great for what we needed- got a few hours sleep in a super clean and comfy bed, nice bathroom with a great shower and a perfect French breakfast of fresh baguette and croissant, juice and coffee at 5:30 am. We took a taxi to the hotel ($25 US) which was worth it since we had luggage and are a family, but we walked back in the am as it is so close and downhill. It's clean, the service was courteous, and it's as close as you can get to the airport- met our expectations.

A Great Travel Motel
This motel is just across from the airport. It was clean and the continental breakfast was to die for. Cereal, juice, lovely french pastry, crunchy french bread, jam, any kind of coffee or chocolate, milk, butter. Couldn't eat it all. It is a perfect one night hotel before leaving to go home. OK, there are drawbacks, no elevator and sits on a steep hill so you must lug luggage up the hill or stairs or have your cab drop your luggage at the top of the hill before taking you down to reception. Also, you cannot walk across the street to airport due to the hill so do need a cab to drive you over to airport, not too bad though. The price is excellent, you will pay $200 US in town for something not so nice with no breakfast.

Hotel is across the road from airport...room clean.. free contiental breakfast...price modest...caution: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WALK TO MOTEL..TOO MANY STEPS.. AND ALL UPHILL. WHEW......

Avoid if you can
We stayed in at the Hilton in Moorea for most of our trip, but decided to come back to Tahiti a day early as we had an early flight out. The Airport hotel seemed like a logical choice and will admit the rates were reasonable and certainly did not expect anything like the Hilton. However, the hotels description is inflated a good bit, think "Motel 6". Specifics include warm, not hot water; hall lights that go out to save energy (you have to find the switch to temporarily activate them) even though outside the hotel there must be 4000 watts of light bulbs outlining the building; no elevators and parking designed for "Mini Coopers". It was clean, but next time I will check out the Intercontinental just down the road and easier to find and get in and out of if you have a car.
