Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa - a charming "boutique hotel" is a perfect blend of luxury and serenity making it an ideal destination for families, divers and honeymooners. This traditional Polynesian style hotel offers 28 overwater bungalows, 8 beach bungalows, 28 garden bungalows with private pool and 30 garden view rooms & garden view duplex. All feature ceiling fan, air conditioning, sundeck, coffee/ tea making facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, safety box, TV flat screen with video channel, CD player, telephone and 110 V outlet. Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa is the only resort on the island offering garden bungalows with private pool, but guests may also enjoy the clear water of swimming pool, the largest one of the island. In addition, overwater bungalows have a large sundeck and sitting area with direct access to the lagoon; and premium overwater bungalows - set right near the reef drop off - offer fabulous snorkeling. The property also offers baby sitting service, banquet facilities, bar, concierge, conference facilities, currency exchange, disabled facilities, doctor on call, gift shop, golf course, Internet access wireless, laundry service, library, lift/ elevator, lobby, non-smoking rooms, parking facilities free, plunge pool, reception, restaurant, room service, safe deposit box, secretarial services, spa services, solarium, swimming pool outdoor, table tennis, tour desk, dive center, kayaks (free) and snorkeling (free). Moorea Pearl is quite nice for

Moorea Pearl is quite nice for a day or so but it does not have much beach. The snorkelling is good and the scuba diving people are really lovely people. The location is close to shops so you can buy food (restaurants in Moorea are v expensive, even breakfast...$60 AU each!) but it is a small resort so the locals are very close and their dogs wander through the resort. Also the neighbours are very loud....there are better resorts on Moorea.
