Historic Alsatian charm in the heart of the commercial district

Best Western Hotel De L'Europe is a business-friendly hotel housed in a 15th century half-timbered Alsatian post house. Business amenities include a business center, meeting and conference room, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Best Western Hotel De L'Europe

Although the hotel was difficult to find, we liked the rooms and the bathrooms were exceptional, recently remodeled, with a two shower head options. Be prepared for squeaky wooden floors, but it adds to the hotel's charm. Breakfast offerings were adequate. If you are driving this is the only drawback: when we got there was we were told that since we had not paid for parking in the hotel garage (an option that I did not see on the website), therefore we had to had to unload our suitcases in a side street and leave the car in the Tanneurs Parking structure, a couple of blocks away. It is a real nightmare to maneuver through that parking garage, there are very few tight parking spaces per floor. After finally finding a spot on the seventh floor, the elevator was not working.
