A brilliant hotel opposite the

A brilliant hotel opposite the river. It is about 10 minutes walk from the historic centre of rouen or there is a bus service nearby but I did not see the need. The suites are lovely and I was only there for one night so did not get to use much of the facilities. The free TV, movies, internet, phone (suitebox)etc was a great bonus. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave in the room and a complementary bottle of water as well as water fountain.

Older City

This hotel is quite European. Elevators are very small, parking is tight. Breakfast is over priced and not tasty. Laundry service took two days. The lobby was sometimes dirty. We could not get our room to cool down and had to open windows. On the plus side, the staff is helpful and friendly. The room was very accommodating. It gave us a place to hang our heads but we will not return.

Clean, good hotel at reasonable price

This was a very good hotel if you are staying in Rouen, not looking for a hotel that has the ambiance of this old city, and have a car. We had a rented car since we were traveling every day for work, and having a parking lot under the hotel with easy access in and out of Rouen was great. The hotel is about a mile or so away from the center, where the sites, stores and restaurants are located, so we did not want to go back and forth once we'd settled into the hotel in the evenings, which was a down side compared to staying right in the heart of the city where everything is located outside the door. The rooms and amenities were modern and sparse, but the hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortably hard.

Very nice hotel, OK location, agreeable

very nice hotel, location is OK, a bit far from main attractions, 3 high end restauratnts across the street, one of them requires reservation. Rooms are very spacious with ultra modern design. Very quiet and doesn't seem to have whole lot visitors. Located right next to port headquarter thus ideal if it is your destination. Breakfast is agreeable and need to get used to, most dishes are in the fridge to be taken out by yourself. Not too many choices either. Only a bit better than the common continental breakfast found in US. Not a very good deal.....BUT..., the nearest McDonald is 20 min walk, so, might not have a choice. Overall, a business hotel with big room in a remote location. No problem if have a car.
