Only Suites Paris CDG

With any effort, this could have been a really nice hotel stay. But, management is obviously cutting corners on staff, resulting in a totally unacceptable experience. Good aspects: the location is very convenient for our early flight out of Paris. The wi-fi was free, had a strong signal, and was the most reliable we have encountered in a 10 day stay in France comprising 4 different hotels. The kitchenette included a toaster and coffee maker, both very handy. And the bed was comfortable. Not-so-good aspects: although billed as "5 minutes from the airport", the free shuttle makes numerous other stops, so the one-way transit time is actually 30 minutes. Also, although named "Only Suites" (in English) and serving a major international airport, the check-in clerk spoke almost no English. The aforementioned kitchenette was basically unusable due to lacking any utensils, plates, bowls, pots, or pans. Finally, the breakfast was vastly overpriced. Deal breakers: (1) Room was unspeakably filthy: crusted food on the stove, numerous greasy smudges on the coffee table, visible dirt on all the floors, hair all over the bathroom floor and walls, toothpaste spots on the mirror. My wife went down to complain, whereupon she discovered (2) woefully understaffed: the check-in clerk was the ONLY hotel staff member on duty, no one to clean up the mess. We ended up borrowing a broom and dustpan from her, sacrificing one of two hand-towels to the cause, and staying up until after midnight cleaning and scrubbing the room ourselves. On the way out, we struck up a conversation with a businessman who had been there a full week and had the identical experience, so we know our situation was not a freak accident. Since all the other hotels near CDG had nearly the same price point, there is absolutely no reason to consider a stay at this one.

Overal, good value but still needs work on the amenities side. The tv in my room did not work and neither did the phone. So I was unable to call and request service for the tv. Other than that, very nice clean hotel with good personnel. I will stay there again.

good reasonable hotel for families coming into Paris for a few days ! cheap enough it can be used as a far away base to visit Paris.

I thought the hotel had a four star rating but obviously it is not. The keys did not work for anyone staying at the hotel nor did the T.V's. My room was in shambles. There was seemed to be a saliva stain on my pillow. The floor was dirty as if it had not been vacumed. They have food in a vending machine...not good do not buy. The service to the airport was good. I was just expecting four star not one star. Should I have known it was a one star I would of not been so shocked. Nice decor but they do not deep clean. Reminded me of a hostel.

Near the end of the CDG Airport Roissy hotel shuttle is the Only Suites Paris CDG Hotel. The first thing one notices on entering the lobby is how dirty it is. Strange since the property doesn't appear too old and is very modern European in style. The reception desk was also a mess with a fan propped up on a chair providing the only cooling for the attendant. On arrival, a note indicated that the attendant would return in 5 minutes. A few minutes later the attendant checked us in and then because of a shortage of room key cards (unbelievable!), he had to lead us to the room to open the door with the pass key. He then stuffed a folded card in the receptacle for the key by the door to keep the lights and AC on! After his departure we discovered the AC and shower were broken and the floor was dirty and worn. Another trip to the empty front desk (helping someone else to their room), a wait, and then another room assigned. This room was better as the AC and shower "sort of" worked. We were too tired to try again for another room. Both rooms of our "suite" had one glass and no other dishes or utensils in the kitchenette... not that we needed anything other than another glass. In summary, this is a hotel that clearly shows a lack of maintenance and cleanliness despite the impression that initially, it was a well done property. I will not stay here again.

The night when I arrived at the hotel, there was only 1 stuff working at the reception, although she was very nice, she didn't speak English and couldn't serve the number of clients waiting in the queue. I would only go to this hotel if I have an early flight to reach next morning.

good when time is limited and you can't make make the time to make it into the city. nowhere near as convenient as the airport based hotels. shuttle takes a bit.

Traveling for business. Good location easy access to the airport.

hotel was Ok. fine for an overnight before flying out the next morning. typical airport hotel - i would pick a different one if i was coming back with my family.
