Hotel is great, right at airport shuttle tram station between CDG1 and CDG2. Restaurant was good, same menu for room service. Staff was generally very helpful.

Flexible and convenient
The Novotel is likely designed for airport travelers but goes far beyond what I would have expected. I arrived at 11 am and yet was still able to check in to a room. The front desk staff was great about explaining the options, with pros/cons, for getting into Paris, particularly for a woman traveling alone. Food of some kind or another is available 24 hours including a full breakfast buffet that opened at 5 am. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The hotel itself was footsteps from the train to Paris and the airport terminal connecting train. It really doesn't get better for a the needs that I had.

Good hotel
This hotel is a good option for a morning departure from perhaps the worst airport in the world. The hotel is attached to the airport by a tram, so it's very easy to get to check-in from there.

Good location
Stayed at Novotel CDG for the night because we had an early flight. Good value for the price. Is connected to terminal 1 and 2 by an airport tram, but very close to Terminal 3. Was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay there again if needed. There is a place to eat, but we used airport restaurants.

Is what it is
If you want a room just for the night at the airport this fits the description. Room was small and in need of some attention. Carpet had pet stains on it, and mini bar light flashes all night scanning the bar and lighting up the whole room. Shower and toilet were in separate rooms, with the toilet being in a small cramped room by itself. Food was very high and was same price whether room service or in restaurant. If you have time might want to eat somewhere else or even the airport. However, room was what I wanted, something close to airport (actually in terminal 3) and easy to get back for early connecting flight. Less than 3 minute walk to tram back to terminal 2. Wasn't even close in quality to some of other airport hotels I've stayed in, but this time was also half the price. If you need something cheap and easy for one night this may be the place for you.

OK place, not-so-OK staff
The best thing about this hotel is its location (if you need a place to sleep for one night). You take a rather short train ride and you are there. The room is OK. Comfortable bed, tight corners, and a rather weird bathroom. BBC is the only English channel you can get on TV if you can get the weird remote control work. Front desk people are not friendly. It does not make sense to hire people who can not speak English to work at a front desk of a hotel which located at the middle of an international airport. The lady who could speak English was not willing to help at all. When we inquired about the train service, she said we should ask people who work in the train terminal since it was their job to answer questions about the train. How is that for customer service?! Oh by the way, if they tell you it takes 30 minutes by train to get to the center of Paris, do not believe it. It took us more than 2 hrs to get to Eifel tower after a train and two subway rides. It takes 35 minutes by taxi but it will cost you 59 Euros. So be prepared if you are planning to do any sightseeing.

Easy for early departure next day
I had attended University outside of the city for a semester. I needed to be able to get off the train, get a night's sleep and catch my flight back to the USA the next morning. This hotel was perfect. Easy transfer off train, easy check in, comfortable night sleep and then hop on the flight in the AM.

Couldn't Have been more convenient
The hotel was perfect for our early departure out of CDG. The hotel is located directly next to the airport where there is a frequent train that comes by to take you to your correct terminal. The hotel was clean and spacious by European standards. The service was friendly and accomodating and worth the fair price that I was charged. Will definitely be using this hotel again!
