Good, convenient, fair pice.
We loved the location, close to many of our targeted goals in terms of places to visit. The staff was thoughtful and the morning petit dejeuner was a good value at 10 euros. The room was always neat and nothing was overdone. The shower, while tiny was comfortable with plenty of hot water. Many people may have found the room too small, but we loved it. We were always down to breakfast and out the door for the full day, as early as we chose - usually by 9 or 10 a.m. and not returning until at least 10 p.m. at night. The location was also close to metro stops. I am close to 60 years old and my partner in her early 50s and we found this good for our health but not over-taxing.

Do get the museum pass! We did two days and might have gone for three if I hadn't miscommunicated to the young woman working at the fnac location in Les Halles. We definitely got our money's worth and it helps you jump the longer lines. This is a good location and we had very good weather throughout our visit which was over the last week of February.

Decent but small
I booked this hotel based on a deal and it because it was cheaper yet more central than many of the other hotels in central Paris. Overall, the hotel was decent but the rooms, even by European standards, were very small. We couldn't open the door to the bathroom all the way or the doors to the cupboard without bumping into the bed. Also, the room doors have no slowing mechanism so they all slam and we could hear slamming doors in the hallway. The staff was nice though and it was in a nice location.

I'd definitely go back.
We couldn't ask for more. We wanted a reasonable, comfortable hotel, close to areas we wanted to tour with a helpful staff. I know people have complained about small rooms, but real estate is at a premium in Paris and I didn't go there to stay in the room. The concierge staff knew enough English and I knew enough French to communicate well, and I would definitely go back any time I go to Paris.

short walk to louvre and to transport
Location was good. We were able to walk to Lourve, Musee D Orsay, even Notre Dame and St Chappell. Subway and buses also close by. The shower was very small for 5'10" 180, Beds were board like(hard). Breakfast very simple for 10 Euro each. There is NO Ice at hotel at all. Would only recomend Hotel because of location.

It will be hard to get your moneys worth buying the paris pass. The Museum pass is a good deal if you enjoy Artworks. Dont forget to go to the Eiffel Tower around 9:00 or 10:00 to see it Sparkle.

This 2 star hotel was as good
This 2 star hotel was as good as or better than a number of 3 star hotels I've stayed in in Paris. I would stay again at the HotelClub price (but not at the regular price, which is too high.)

Centrally Located
Timhotel Palais Royal is a centrally located hotel just down the street from the Bourse (stock exchange). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequately furnished (not too small like some other hotels in Paris). This hotel is so centrally located, I found myself walking most of the time instead of using the metro. I would definitely stay here again.

Charming!
After reading lots of reviews on this hotel, I was slightly weary to stay here. I went with my better judgment and booked it anyways. I can honestly not say one bad thing about this hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff (who spoke very good english). We were given our keys and all our information we needed. The rooms were charming and clean. Everything looked like it had been remodeled not long ago. Yes, the rooms are a bit on the smaller side but let's be honest here, how much time are you going to spend in your room anyways? It had enough room to place all our dirty clothes and 2 large suitcases. The bathroom was a bit tight, but still not a problem. The shower was very small, but made it all the more fun to take a shower in =) We had daily maid service who always left clean towels and even showed us where we could use the hotel's iron and ironing board. The location is beyond perfect. A 5 minute walk to any sort of food or restaurant (there is an AMAZING thai food place around the corner) and about 10 minutes to the Louvre museum and the Tuillieres gardens. a short stroll to any major landmark and about a 2 minute walk to the Metro (Bourse station). I contemplated other hotels that were a bit cheaper but were a lot further from the center of town and i'm glad I decided to go with this one instead. It's worth it for the location and the charm. If I had to say anything bad about this location is that because it is in a slightly touristy and business area of Paris, there are not that many places to eat kinda late. We would grab little things to eat before we headed back to the hotel so we would have snacks. I wouldn't really call it a problem. We managed just fine. There was free breakfast in the morning and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh croissants, rolls, cereal, meats and cheeses. I could not complain. Overall, I will be absolutely be staying at the Timhotel again soon. I will see Paris again soon and this hotel will be on my list. Bon Voyage!

Great Location, Good Price
The staff was pleasant, the hotel in great location. The downside is thin walls with a bar/band next door.

Great time
Great hotel. Front desk staff was helpful. Location was prime. 10 min from louvre, and close to metro. Great wine bar nearby, along with manygreat pastry shops and sushi restaurants. Walls were extremely thin though. Heard everything going on outside and on our floor.
