TRYP Paris De Saxe Hotel

During our 8 day vacation in Englsnd, my Grandfather and I took a weekend excursion to Paris. The Tryp hotel allowed us easy access to all of the city. The staff was extremely helpful, maximizing our short visit.

The reception personnel were extremely helpful, but the rooms were lacking in most all areas. We had the breakfast, it was okay but not worth 20 euro per person. Shower was horrible, drain was clogged and small even for Europe. The location was great for the Eiffel tower, but that was it, we walked and walked some more to everywhere, but now we know in which location we will stay! As far as the shuttle service to and from orly airport, that was a complete joke, their "shuttle" was a reserved taxi for 30 euro each way!!!!! So like $100 us dollars roundtrip!!! We were like you have to be kidding me!!!!! We pay for "shuttle"?!?! So don't book this hotel if you want to save money, not really budget friendly hotel. There were only 5 parking spaces, so a car rental wasn't practical either! So, bring walking shoes for sure!! Paris is beautiful and we had an amazing time, the people there are rude, so don't be surprised, so speak French for sure, you will be treated better!! I'm not sure if we would stay at this hotel again, but we would go to Paris again!!!! Enjoy your vacation!!!!!! ;)

This hotel makes no different how ever it is located on an area where you really want to stay on.

The hotel's WIFI was not working (they were out of cards for 3 days?), the showers were terrible!, the TV remote did not have new batteries, etc... Also there was no signage indicating the hotel was off the main street which caused quite a bit of initial confusion. The staff were very friendly, but could have been better at assisting with the complicated and unreliable taxi system in Paris (we were late 2xs for a dinner reservation because they had not booked on time).

Great hotel and location. Would return on our next trip to paris!

Located in the 7th arrondissement, the TRYP de Saxe Hotel is a 20 minutes Southwest of the Eiffel Tower. It's a small hotel, clean with helpful and courteous staff. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood but better ones if you walk or take the Metro. A fine hotel for a quiet stay in Paris.

This place way okay at best, It did have an excelent location to make up for it though.

The hotel is not fancy or spacious, but it is reasonably priced, clean, really close to the train station (right across the street), and the staff was very friendly. When we arrived in Paris after a long flight, it was nice to have the hotel right there and and see a friendly face. I would stay here again.

Clean hotel, breakfast was fresh and tasty. Very European feel, which means rooms are smallish, and not lavish, but everything you need. It's on a little road off of the main Avenue de Sax. It's close to the Eiffel Tower, but not in the touristy section. Stay here if you have a budget and do not want to be in the middle of kitschy shops and loud crowds. There's also a street market every few days nearby where real Parisians shop. I'm sure you can find a nice original souvenir there! The closest metro stop is Segur on the 10.

Great location for walking the heart of Paris. Easy walk to the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, and a pleasant walk across the Seine to the Louvre. Tryp de Saxe is on a nice, quiet, and short street which provides a quiet night. Room is nice, however, the bathroom needs some improvement.
