Quality Hotel Abaca Paris 15th

This hotel is worth it! it's charming w/cozy, comfortable bedroom and modern bathroom. go for the bigger room if you can adfford it. large windows, great views the location is alive and safe, close by to metro and bus line right there, lively street but quiet at night, surrounded by shops, variety of food places and drugstores and quaint little side streets. Hotel is right accross the street from a magnificent bakery. It's much cheaper and more pleasant of atmosphere and more food choices there,grab breakfast there instead of the hotel breakfast buffet that's 15euros($22) for just salami,croissants,coffee/juice and the staff there in the basement is rude and outrageously over charged travelers. the recption staff was great and accomodating except for the night guy who was mostly grumpy and only one of the maids who was overeager to finish her cleaning jobs on her schedule even if your do not disturb sign was on the door. and of course as is european custom you pretty much hear everything your neighbor is saying if your in the bathroom. we brought a voltage converter plugged in my laptop watched movies and put earphones on; we couldn't hear anyone and they couldn't hear us. the TV is all french channels except CNN. Overall a decent stay and really comfortable beds, renovated bathrooms,nice flat screen TVs great neigborhood, friendly reception staff and yes i would stay there again but no more than 2-3 days. after that the maids come to hunt you down.
