Ideal weekend break
We had looked at lots of 3* hotels (definately not 3* in UK terms!) and could'nt find anything in our price bracket, that looked appealing, and close to the centre of Paris. All of them were small, usually down very quite uninteresting streets, were quite a distance from Metro stations, and so just didn't appeal to us at all. When we found the 4* (as above) Tour Eiffel, it was exactly what we were looking for, especially when we saw the massively impressive Eiffel Tower was in full view of the hotel and only a two minute strool from the front of the hotel. When we arrived the staff were very courtous, it was our anniversary weekend in Paris and I had told the hotel by email. We were congratulated by the receptionist which really impressed us both, and we were upgraded to a room with a view. This, I'm sure made a huge difference to our stay. Having a coffee on our balcony in the morning, looking at the Eiffel Tower was fantastic. And going to bed, another look at it all lit up was brilliant! I must say we were disappointed with the decor on our 5th floor, it was very dated and quite shabby, compared to the foyer and bar which wre totally modern . Our bedroom was first class, and couldn't have been much better in any other hotel. They supplied dressing gowns, slippers, flat screen TV, safe for valuables, shower gels were all provided as well as an ironing board and iron. There was also a mini bar which was way too expensive. The breakfasts were excellent, with a huge array of food, and a chef frying to order, including waffles. The restaurant menu for evening dinner was rubbish, very disappointing, but just accross the road from the hotel ther are three bistros, and all of them serve great food at a good price. You could also picnic at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, as we did! I would recommned this hotel, but it would definately be worth your while requesting a room from the fifth floor up (to 11) and ONLY at the front of the hotel, not the back. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom IS what sets this hotel apart from the rest. You're also only three minutes from the RER train which easily connects you to the very centre of Paris and the Metro which is brilliant and very easy to use. You can do a rapid tour of the whole City in three days, but don't expect to get into any tourist attraction without being prepared to queue for hours. Best place to spend time, in our view,is the Latin Quarter.

So unexpected!
It was really the best location for my purpose. For arriving early I got upgraded to a balcony room at the 9th floor...that is the best part...a room with a fantastic view to usher New Year in Paris! It is centrally located that most of the tour buses and metro is just a block away. Service is very good, rooms are clean, and staff are all very courteous and helpful.

Lots of thing to do just around the vicinity, one could also avail of the hop on hop off city bus w/c you could always catch by the Eiffel Tower and the metro is just a block away so you could always roam the city and visit the museum too.

Paris in the summertime
Nice location, but needs exterminators
My experience as a solo traveller at the hotel was decent. The staff spoke English and was generally helpful. Room service was pretty good and I had a great view of the Eiffel tower. The only thing I had an issue with were the bugs! I hate bugs!!! There was a giant spider on the ceiling crawling about and what looked like millions of little ants on the ceiling in the corner of the wall. This made my skin crawl! Despite the fact that there were bugs in the room, my overall experience was pretty good and the location was great.

Fantastic View of the Eiffel Tower!
I travelled with my 14 year old daughter and we had a wonderful time in Paris. The hotel room was adequate, clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and gave valuable advice. Dinners are very expensive in Paris, but the food is excellent. The view from the room is fantastic and some of the rooms are facing the Eiffel tower! It is truly a spectactular sight at night when the Tower lights up. We had dinner at the Eiffel tower which was pre-booked, so we did not have to join the long lines to get up to the tower. The only downside is that there is no gym in the hotel. All together our experience with [...]was great!

The proxitmity of the hotel allowed guests to have a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, and the river bank of the Seine River. It is an ideal location. We highly recommend this hotel.

Pullman Hotel Tour Eiffel
4 nights at Pullman Hotel for a leisure trip to Paris. Hotel need some serious face lift and improvement on service. Staff was not helpful in finding local information (did not even know which bus stops near the hotel). I ask to reserve a taxi for my trip to the airport, the staff said not necessary just come down and there will be plenty of taxis waiting outside the hotel, it became a 30min. wait, not a good situation to be in when catching a flight. Air conditioning did not work well, I requested repair but not action was taken. I asked for a 6am for wake up call, the wait up call came in at 3:45am! A bit far from where a action is which is district 1 & 4.
