This was one of my best trips in Europe so far. The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on since studying in London and travelling for about 3 months now, only complaint was the pillow was the size of a dime but just have a drink and forget about it. The shower was lovely, the room was clean, the staff is friendly and willing to tell you where to go with a smile, breakfast available for a few more euros. What was really great is that the entrance to the train station is right there, but the area is really quiet so you get a great nights sleep.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Head to La Cidraie for some late night food action for cheap. Things can close sooner than you realize and we ate here at around 10:30 pm. Had a ham and pepper bruschetta, minestrone soup, a ham and cheese crepe, two beers, a crepe drenched in whisky and chocolate ice cream for around 27 euros. They even brought me a free dessert crepe with nutella since my friend ordered dessert and I didn't. They were so funny and sweet despite our language barrier.

We thought the hotel was quite nice...weren't in it most of the time though. Was close to the metro, the market and not too far from downtown. Front desk staff was nice. There was one light in the room that wasn't working - over the bed.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Divide the city into sections - Eiffel tower, Seine River, Arc de Triomphe, etc at one time. Then do the Louvre and nearby shopping at one time, etc. This way you see a lot without running all over the place.

short week end in this hotel
The place is nice but one morning when we were sleeping, a man just entered your room like that and just said sorry ( imagine if he saw us naked!). When we told the receptionist he just mentioned that it is the technician , however we did not ask for anything - We were still asleep late this morning because of the noise from next rooms all night - Apart from that, there is no internet or wifi for 3 stars . The first night, they did not change the sheets so we just threw them on the floor the next day so they have to change it. Everything in Paris almost close on Sundays and Mondays(off). It is just close to the metro station so you can go everywhere.

Clean Hotel in Cute Neighborhood
This was our third time to Paris - a non-tourism escape from home in chaotic Egypt. We knew the hotel was not in the center of Paris, but needed the budget rates -- turns out that the quiet-but-lively neighborhood was perfect for what we wanted: lots of bakeries and cafes and restaurants, across the street from a Monoprix grocery store for picnic food and cheap meals. It's also truly located steps away from the Dugommier metro stop on line 6 or a short walk to Bercy on line 14? - so of course easy to get to the sights of Paris proper. The downsides: a bit of a journey if you want to sightsee all day (but an easy one on the metro), the staff was friendly enough but very hands-off (we had a little difficulty getting a fork, airport directions, or information on bike rental)- don't expect amenities, and the beds were a little hard. The rooms are tiny, (as usual in Paris) but spotless with a small balcony, nice bathtub and great shower pressure. [...] says there is A/C, but there wasn't. All in all a pleasant stay that I would recommend to the relaxed traveler.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
Bercy village is two stops away (3 transfers) on Cour St. Emilion (or walk/ walk to Bercy metro and go one stop) It's a very cute, quaint little shopping area in an old wine warehouse - with Olivier and Co. plus lots of cafes.

Fantastic hotel for price!
Staff/Hotel Service - extremely helpful and accommodating. By far the nicest people we encountered in Paris. All staff spoke English very well so if your French needs work, no need to worry! Rooms - Large (by European standard), VERY clean, and air conditioned!! Location - Dugommier Metro stop is literally 20 meters from the hotel door. 20 minute ride into central Paris. Breakfast - Not included, 8 Euro per person. We did not eat their breakfast (little pricey for us) but there is a supermarket across the street and several lovely bakery shops on the same block. Yum! All in all, excellent hotel. We highly recommend it and would absolutely stay there again!!

My first time in Paris
My first time in Paris and I chose this hotel based on other reviews that I read. It's not near any of the main attractions however the train station is right across the street to the left of the hotel. There is plenty to choose from to eat in the local area and a great Monoprix supermarket across the street to buy whatever you may need: food, batteries, clothing, adapers, ect. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with any of my questions. The price for the room was very reasonable. The train will get you to all the attractions and the system is easy to navigate. I took the train from the airport to the hotel, a lot cheaper than a cab. A lot cheaper! I didn't know this so I got a little lost and had to walk 30min to the hotel because I got off on the wrong stop: the hotel train station is Dugommier the #6 line. you take the airport shutttle to Paris by train, go upstairs and pay approx. 1.70 euro. take the #22 track/train to get into Paris. i would def stay here again in the future even though its not in the middle of everything, the neighborhood feeling of living in Paris is what i enjoyed. taking the train and being among the locals was also a plus.

Fantastic Location and Neighborhood
This was at least my 5th trip to Paris and so far my favorite place to stay. It's not in the city center, nor is it immediately near major tourist attractions, but you will not find a place to stay closer to the Metro...and the Metro is the only way to get around Paris. The friendly neighborhood had a bank, a couple of laundromats, countless restaurants, several bakeries, a supermarket, and an open-air market all within easy walking distance. The staff was friendly and spoke enough English that my broken French was not a problem at all. My only complaint is that the bed we had was rock hard--it was like sleeping on a carpeted floor. But maybe we just had bad luck in getting that particular room (it was the smallest and cheapest they had). Even though the room was small by American standards, it was more than enough for the two of us and our luggage--in fact it was quite ample by budget hotel standards. I would definitely stay there again, and just hope to get a different room with a better bed...
