19th century historical monument and elegant hotel in central Paris
The Park Hyatt Paris Vendome decor is sleekly modern, with attention to comfort in every detail. Dine at the Michelin starred restaurant Pur' and The Chef's Table, opulent Les Orchidees, and La Terrasse, with Le Bar and La Cheminee for beverages. Le Spa offers a fitness center, massage, private showers, sauna and steam room. The Business Centre (open 24/7) on the lower level has full office facilities, secretarial support is available and there are meeting rooms and two boardrooms. Spectacular location, beautiful hotel, great service
We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hyatt in Paris over New Year. We were traveling with a baby and the hotel provided not only a crib but also a bath and a bottle warmer. The rooms are beautiful, with dramatically high ceilings (at least on 2nd and 3rd floors). We'd booked a standard room; the first night we arrived we had a room facing one of the inside courts, but we requested for a room facing Rue de la Paix and the next day we were able to move into an awesome room with a view down to Place Vendome and its own balcony, fantastic. I'd definitely recommend requesting a Rue de la Paix view room, and give the hotel a call the morning of your arrival to confirm if possible. My only slight negative comment is that the concierge seemed very focused on getting us into one particular restaurant, Vin Chai Moi, which seems to be one that a lot of hotel concierges send people to. I would have hoped for more thoughtful advice about nearby restaurants. They were able to lend me a copy of the Michelin guide however, which helped. Overall highly recommended, one of my best ever hotel stays.
