Great hotel, esp for Montmartre site-seeing!
This is a lovely modern hotel. As others recommended, when we were offered an upgrade to the 9th floor (for only 10 euro, when we checked in), I jumped at it. Great views up there! We had a king bed with a good mattress. Free soft drinks in the mini-fridge. Only one downside: extremely slow wifi, so uploading pix is a real drag. Other than that, great! Don't bother with the breakfast offers in the hotel, there are much cheaper alternatives down the block. Nice, helpful staff who offered a lot of restaurant tips . Next door to the Montmarte Cemetery, where many famous people are buried. Very cool walking around there. Extremely close to the Butte de Montmarte, where there are a ton of shops, galleries, cafes and food shops. Do not miss the Patisserie Arnaud Larher four blocks away at 53 Rue Caulaincourt. Award-winning pastries!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Le Perroquet Vert is a very good and reasonable traditional restaurant just around the corner on Rue Cavalotti. Good for the first night. La Palace right at the end of the block is an upbeat bistro with a big menu--good for vegetarians.

Great central location, easy access to everywhere via Metro.
Pleasant staff, but confirm your room reservation with hotel before arriving. One of the rooms I reserved and paid for months in advance wasn't available when I arrived. They tried to give me and my husband twin beds instead of a king ;( After the room situation was resolved, we had a great time. The hotel is in a great location. Right around the corner from the Moulin Rouge, a fantastic choice of restaurants and the Metro. Didn't get lost once.

This hotel was suprisingly modern
This hotel was suprisingly modern and well decorated. It was situated within short walking distance of the Metro and also the gorgeous Monmatre district was just around the corner with all its fabulous bars and very French restaurants. The breakfast was included and offered a good choice - coffee very strong though - but ti was Europe. The staff were suoer friendly and enjoyed my attempt to speak French and didn't even speak automatically back to me in English as is often the case. Would definitely stay there again.
