- The rooms are mainly medium in size, and in good condition. They are simply decorated in pastel colours, with a painting or picture on the wall. Some of the cupboards do not have doors, but the room's furniture always includes a basic desk.

- The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor and is small in size, with no windows. Pink colours and dark brown furniture give a soft but not too bright atmosphere.

Paris, mon ami!
This hotel is a Paris experience. My room was on the 5th floor. Sort of tucked under the eaves. The room was adequate. The breakfast was disappointing after Italy. The staff seemed grumpy at first but warmed up over the course of my visit. They helped me with my French. I think French people, in general, like it when an American makes an effort to speak their language. (News bulletin: don't we feel the same way about non English speakers in the USA>)

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
There was a very funky street market, with antiques and such, underway on Sunday a couple of blocks over (Rue des Martyrs, I think) Great Art Deco furniture, books, clothes etc. Trouble is, how do you ship it home?

Excellent rapport qualité-prix
Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Chambre correcte et pas de bruit la nuit.Salle de bains refaite récemment et impeccable. Bon accueil. A recommander ainsi que le petit restaurant indien juste à côté où l'on nous a attendu patiemment jusqu'à 23h30 pour le dîner avec des conseils avisés sur le choix des plats!
