Excellent Value for Springtime in Paris
Wonderful, convenient neighborhood. Comfortable clean room on top floor with charming view of the streets below. Small room but not tiny, and very nice bathroom. Good continental breakfast. Outstanding value! even though they don't offer free wifi, which is too bad, inconvenient.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Pick up a nutritious and inexpensive salad at local groceries and eat in the hotel's nice, clean patio. Save your money that way for all the other fantastic things to see, do, and buy. Restaurants are TOO expensive, unless you mean to have a taste of fine dining.

This is the second time in 3 months I stayed at the hotel and I was not dissapointed. The hotel, while small and nothing too special, has everything I need, is in an excellent location, and is clean and suited to my needs. It is right by the Metro, but down the block so you don't hear the noise. It is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and there is tons of shopping in the area. It is a little noisy in the morning (but nothing too bad and you should be getting up to enjoy Paris anyway). The area has a neighborhood feel and I will be staying here again when I come back next time. Value for the money.

Good enough for my stay.
The hotel was small and the room was tiny, however it suited my needs. It does need some lighting in the stairway, however, as I almost fell a few times when I came in late. Plus there is no elevator or staff to bring up your bags. The staff was barely there, but the hotel was clean and very conveniently located. Just 20 min from the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. Lots of places to eat, buy neccessities and hang out on the block.

Disappointing in all respects
Was coming back into Paris after a long side trip. Looking forward to a bath but room had only small confined shower, scratchy towels and no internet - internet was supposed to be available with additional fee but would not work. After one night I left early, no wish to stay in this location and an uncomfortable room. No amenities.

Great location, modern, and clean
Great experience. First time travelers to Europe and we did our research so expected the rooms to be small. But this room was actually bigger than our London hotel room. We were looking for something safe, clean, convenient, and not too expensive and thats exactly what we found. Not a ton of amenities but thats ok b/c of the price. Hairdryer didn't work too well, but again, no big deal. We were put on the top floor and the room had a big window overlooking the street below. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Its about a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station so that was very convenient too. The staff were helpful, but we didn't have a need to talk to them very much. Not sure exactly how much english they spoke. They did ask to see our printed hotel confirmation, however, so was glad I had printed it out ahead of time!

Quaint! Good for a One-Night Stop-over
Even though the rooms are very small, they were very clean. There is no air conditioning but we didn't need it during our Spring visit. We loved the neighborhood with all it's many shops (butcher, bakery, fruit, flower and fish markets) where all the locals shopped. We were on 6th floor overlooking the street. 5 min. or less walk to the Metro rail station. Wireless internet in the rooms and only cost 2 Euros per hour.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Wonderful non-touristy bakeries, coffee shops, fresh food markets within less than 5 min. walking distance where all of the locals shop.

Would have been better if Tea/Coffee
Would have been better if Tea/Coffee facilities were available 24hrs rather just at breakfast, there is a drinks machine but this was out of order. The hotel was very clean, location fantastic a little noisy as our room was at the front on the road side so couldnt have the window open for long. 10/15 min walk to Eiffel Tower and about 300 metres from the Metro station so ideal.

This was a great little hotel
This was a great little hotel in a fantastic location. It had all been recently redecorated so was modern and pleasant. A nice feature was the centre courtyard. For Paris the price was excellent and so close to the metro and also supermarkets- a nice neighbourhood

Reasonable sized room and nicely
Reasonable sized room and nicely renovated but incredibly small bathroom. Shower would have been at most 2foot square. Didnt help having a shower curtain either, nothing like a hug from a red plastic sheet first thing in the morning. No air con, very hot in summer and too noisy to leave window open. Smallest passenger lift I have ever seen. Most of the staff were nice once they knew we were Australian, good location, small selection for breakfast. No internet access within a 20 mile radius! Take your lap top for free wifi (in the lobby only).

Great location near a metro stop
Great location near a metro stop in a decent neighborhood. Good metro links. For a budget hotel in Paris this was an excellent hotel. Breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable, room was very clean and a decent size, and there was plenty of hot water. The only thing I didn't like so much was that the bathroom had some serious mold growth by the shower. It was definitly a manageable problem. If you have a handicap I will warn you that the elevator was small and dropped a bit when you stepped into it. We didn't use it and I don't know that I would have wanted to rely on it. They did have a couple of ground floor rooms which may have been better suited to those with disabilities.
