Perfect for A Couple
authentic French hotel in quiet charming neighborhood, clean, friendly, comfortable. If there is any negative, it is the size of the room, which was very small. But since you only sleep and bathe there, it was perfectly ok for us!

what I liked is hotel's location
what I liked is hotel's location and staff, safe area even at night, near restaurants, cafe's, shops, public transport particularly bus route 69 that for 1.30 euro each way will take you to the louvre, musee d'orsay and eiffel tower,other bus route will take you to Opera shopping district. Hotel has lovely helpful staff, room was clean, bed comfortable, and powerful shower. Only down side is lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room, the marais is a busy urban area so if you like your window open traffic noise could be a problem (didn't bother us we loved ring of church bells from St. Pauls), if temperatures rise like any city I would worry about lack of air conditioning.
