Good room for the money

We were just in Paris for the weekend. This hotel is small, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part about it is that it is well located. We walked to all the famous sites (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc). There is also a metro station nearby.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

To get to CDG airport with your luggage, take the Roissybus. It costs 10 euros, which is almost as cheap as the metro, but much more convenient if you have luggage. The bus stop is at Opera, which is about an hour walk from this hotel.

Not a great hotel

The room was tiny. I have a closet bigger then the room. There was about a foot and a half of room between the side of the bed and the walls. The A/C was not the best. The location was fine but the staff required that you leave your key with them whenever you left the building. I wouldn't stay here again.

close to metro station

This hotel is very close to La motte picquet granelle metro station. There is a monoprix(supermarket) and some cafe or shops nearby so it was convenient for me as I went to paris by myself. The room is reasonable 3 star hotel,no mini bar or safety box in the room, but the bathroom was spacious and fairly clean. No hot breakfast but enough choice. My room was not facing to the street so it was very quiet.

Good for the price and great location!

We stayed at this hotel 7 nights; location is great! Train station is across the street, we walked to the Eiffel Tower, different restaurants all around and it is safe to walk around at night. The staff was very helpful. Anytime we had questions, they were willing to help. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The price was great too. Yes, the room was very small but I've heard that all hotels have small rooms in Paris. Plus, we didn't go to Paris to stay in a hotel room all day. We needed a room to rest/sleep in, change, and take a shower. Plus we had breakfast (more than continental breakfast) everyday!

great location!

The location couldn't get any better, train station right across the street, great restaurants, shopping and outdoor cafes nearby. By americans standards the room was small but for europe it was spacious, the view was terrific, we could see the eiffel tower from our view. for the little time we spent in the hotel room, it was perfect for what we needed. my only complaint would be the free breakfast buffet was not good, but it was indeed free! : )

Excellant location

The location of this hotel was perfect where we could find good restaurants, cafes, bakery shops and the best of all - only 15 minutes walk away from the Eiffel Tower. The down-side to this hotel are the size of the room- too small for even a pigeon to make a hole, otherwise the staff were helpful, the room service was good and also the amenties were good.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

One way to save money is to book a sight-seeing bus tour for 2 days which will cover most of the major sight-seeing places thus saving you on Metro tickets.

Tiny room but, the staff was awesome.

I always enjoy Paris. The Hotel was very, very, very, tiny but, the location was very conveniently located to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. The staff was very helpful, informative, and patient with non French speaking people. This trip was great!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Dining is very convenient. There is a reservation only restaurant next door to the hotel that is amazing for fine dining. There are cafe's, restaurants, the French version of fast food, even McDonald's and Starbucks steps away from the hotel. The food is amazing!

Tiny inconvenient rooms, adds misleading

Even though the hotel is in a convenient location, the room was small and inconvenient. The pictures on their web site were very misleading and tended to be false advertising. The bed spread was dirty and the edges of the room were never vacuumed. The toilet took some gymnastics to be able to use. A plus was their responsiveness to our requests. The breakfast buffet was very adequate.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

Buy the 3, 4, or 5 day unlimited metro pass at a kiosk. While it will probably equal the amount you would spend on normal tickets it saves a lot of time, because you don't constantly have to go to the kiosks to buy more tickets and you don't have to keep track of a ton of different tickets. Take the Metro around, it will give you more time at places. :) Even when you take the Metro you will do plenty of walking.
