Hotel Madeleine Plaza

we had never been to Paris before and was well impressed with the hotel and the location. its near to almost every where we wanted to go. the 'hop on hop off' bus was excellent value and we highly recommended it. we will most definately go back, and stay and this hotel

The location for this hotel couldn't be better. We didn't need to use the metro once (apart from getting to and from gard de nord) everything is in walking distance. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms are cosy and clean. Noise from the road at the front can be loud but you can't hear it at night so it doesn't matter. Couldn't fault this hotel.

Attractive and classic-Haussman-architecture hotel in a terrific Right Bank location. Rooms face historic and awesome Madeleine Church, a block-square Napoleon-ordered recreation of a Greek Temple. Hotel exterior looks classic 150-years old but built in 1990s and well maintained. Rooms small, like most Paris hotels, but OK furnishings. Easy walk to many top sights including Opera Garnier, top shops, Place de la Concorde, etc. Three Metro lines and three bus lines to everywhere adjacent to the hotel.

The weather was perfect and the crowds were manageable! The hotel was in a great location - close enough to get where we wanted to go. We had a room with a view of the Madeliene! The hotel staff was exceptional. Two outstanding and VERY helpful front desk employees were Imzan and Anastasia. Thank you to them!!! We purchased the transfer and we're very glad we did.

I booked this hotel very last minute when options were limited. My criteria included: walking distance to monuments/tourist attractions, easy access to the metro, larger than average (for Paris) accomodations, free wifi, and well rated. The hotel scored on all counts. The location is in the heart of the upscale shopping district, within easy walking distance of the Champs. The metro was steps away, and was a stop that served three lines. Staff were pleasant and bilingual.

The room gave a good first impression. Toile bed covers and blue wallpaper, but on closer inspection the bathroom had hair on the floor from previous guests, the air-conditioning did not work, and the beds were board hard! The location of the hotel is wonderfully convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the nights without air-conditioning were difficult to get a good nights rest. The beds left us with backaches in the morning. Although conveniently located, I would not stay here again.

The hotel is very central and ideal for getting round the city. The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and fresh - perhaps a little small, but if you are out all day it doesn't matter much. We didn't bother with breakfast at the hotel as it's cheaper to get a coffee and croissant elsewhere and we ate out in the evening. I'd definitely recommend the hotel if going for a short break.

I was not in the room that often, but the staff was friendly. The room was small but cute. It was very quite and clean. A great place to stay in Paris.

Excellent hotel. The location is great. Perfect trained staff - very polite and nice. Very clean rooms with renovated bathrooms. Definitely it`s the best choice of the place to stay for such a moderate price, location in the heart of Paris and welcoming staff.

It was mine and my son's first trip to Paris. We found the location to be right in the middle of what we wanted to see and do. It was a small hotel, which we liked very much, but the rooms were very comfortable. The hotel personnel were helpful in every way. We would stay there again.
