Terrible experience
When we went to check out, there was an extra charge. We wanted to know was it the city tax, or did they think we'd used the mini bar. The manager screamed at us. Told us to pay our bill and get out or he was calling the police. we were fat, vulgar and disgusting - he's had enough of us. This tirade of abuse was in front of a lot of guests, and my 13 year old niece!!! We found it extremely upsetting. At no time did we refuse to pay - but we were entitled to ask a question about our bill. I've never been shouted at like that, and we ended up in tears. He continued to shout bad language at us even as we walked out of the hotel. I've never seen anything like it.....this from a hotel manager....... he should not be working in the tourist industry!!! I wouldn't mind, but we had planned on telling him how much we appreciated his help in letting us change rooms as the first one wasn't suitable. Don't go here!!!!

Affordable and Quaint
I traveled w/ two fellow law students and we stayed for a weekend trip while studying in central france. The service was amazing, we were given directions in English, greeted promptly and check in was less than 2 minutes. The staff was courteous, helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in our satisfaction. The location was great, rooms were tiny like a cruise ship cabin, the cleanliness was satisfactory, there was no real view. Overall we had a terrific stay and would return in the future

Short walk from hotel
This area caters to higher end shopping and dining. Ask the front desk for a variety of bars and shopping. Be sure to ask the daytime staff because the night staff was not knowledgeable. Take the metro, its easy, cheap and can get you to great shopping/eating districts. We loved the 10th arrondisment
