Great experience
The location of the Lenox Hotel was perfect to our needs. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, the metro station is a block away. The Lafayette center is very close. You can access all the prime sightseeing spots ( Eiffel Tower, The Louvre , ect ) easily from the hotel . The staff was great. Very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again on our next visit to Paris.

Excellent Location, Clean Hotel, Nothing Else.
Location: This hotel is at a very convenient location, 2 min walk from Vavin metro station, and 5-10 from another two. Location wise, this hotel cannot be beat. It will take about 25 min metro ride to get to Chatelet - main subway hub. Amenities: The hotel is very clean and the maids and hotel staff are responsible. Most hotel staff speak English, a plus for US and Asian travelers. The room was small though, probably in line with with other Paris hotels. Our air-con unit was disabled , probably because we go in late March. It is better for guests to be able to turn things on / off at will though. The safety box cannot even fit an iPad, but it is useful for passports and other small stuff. Beds springs is our only complain in the room. The streets can get very very noisy at night especially on weekend. Parties can go on in nearby restaurants until 3 or 4 am. Request a back room or higher floor if possible. Overall, this is a good hotel at an excellent location.

Great location in Montparnasse
Desk staff is 24 hours and speaks English. Close to three or four Metro stops for easy transportation. On this street there is a boucherie (meat store) fromagerie (cheese), conventional grocery store, poissoniere (fish store) a bakery, deli, bistrot, movie theater, oyster bar, bars, and brasseries. Rooms are small, but nice and comfortable. Short walk from Gare Montparnasse, Luxembourg Gardens, catacombs, and a theater district.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
I shopped at many of the local food stores and ate in my room a few times. You could also do a picnic. This can be a real money saver to buy some bread, cheese, meat, salad, and a bottle of wine for a few meals. It can help you justify spending some more money on a nice meal in a restaurant.

Perfect
We loved the attention that the Staff gives (from the maids to the receptionists) and also the room was clean and nice. The hotel situation is close to Downtown, so prize-quality, it was a good hotel to stay.

Awesome Paris Vacation
This was my third trip to France and my favorite hotel experience. It was within walking distance to everything. One day we even ventured to the cemetery to see Chopin's grave and even that was do-able (though our legs were tired afterwards). It is on a charming street with a cheese shop, butcher shop, bakery, produce market and several restaurants. Away from the most tourist-y areas, the streets weren't packed and instead were very intimate. I will definitely stay there again.

The vendors on the street do not speak very much English, so come prepared with a French words/phrase book if you do not speak French. The products you will receive are well worth it.

Great location for sightseeing in Paris
The hotel location was perfect, subway stations super close by. There were convenience stores, a grocery store, chocolatier, a weekend and Wednesday market, just great stuff. The hotel room was small (welcome to Europe) but clean and functional, only 2 English channels on the tv and American Ipads don't work with their wireless (something weird about the interface with Orange and Apple).

Nice hotel
The hotel is well located in Montparnasse -- a short walk to the Luxemburg Gardens, and about a half hour from the Seine and the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, etc. The day staff was extremely helpful and friendly; the night guy was friendly but forgot to give us a wake-up call, which we didn't need. The breakfast seemed expensive, and we didn't take it. The room was clean and cool, even in 97 F weather. Room faced the street, no noise issues. Delayed luggage is not the hotel's fault. Seemed a bit expensive, but this is Paris, c'mon! We'd go back.

The bakeries on the block were fine. The nearby restaurants on the block were quite accommodating to two people who don't really speak French. Don't worry about that, but don't act entitled when you run into someone who doesn't speak English.
