Great location, great staff, loved the trip!

This hotel is in a great location and has links to most attractions and sights within a few minutes walk. The rooms are small but very comfortable and caters for everything you need to enjoy a trip to paris. The hotel offers breakfast only but being in the opera district this is not an issue as there are hundreds of restraunts and cafe's in the area. The staff are all fantastic and go the extra mile to help you the best they can from ordering taxis, to reserving tables and giving tips and directions on how to get to places. Overall id reccomend this hotel to anybody wanting a well priced hotel within the heart of paris and the opera district.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

When travelling to and from charles de gaulle airport, instead of paying for expensive taxis or transfer's use the paris bus service. The roissybus costs only 10 euros each and is a direct link from the opera house to your designated terminal. This was so easy to use and saved us alot of money and time as buses run from 05:45 and is every 15-20 mins.

Pretty good hotel

so we arrived to this hotel, situated less than one minute away from Gallery La'Fayette the awesome thing about this hotel is that the bus from the airport (CDG) goes straight to the opera house which is a 3 minute walk away from the hotel. it is also close to the subway and one can walk to the Louvre (20 minute walk)

very small, even for Europe

the location and staff was excellent. the room however was a converted closet i think. it was very small. There was no room to put your bags. The shower setup was a little strange to and you get water everywhere. The plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly. They made it worth it.

Convenient for shopping/dining out

I couldn't have imagined how close to the 'grandes magazins' one can stay in a quite city environment! Great catch! The city train, RER, just aroung the corner, metro not far away, neither. Arriving here from CDG was a piece of cake by Roissybus to Opera. From Opera a cheap taxi drive to get a view of where you are. The TV set could have been slightly larger and with more channels. However, in the heart of Paris, what do you do? Watch TV? Not me.

Very Clean With Friendly Staff

The hotel was very well kept and while the room was typical Europe small, the bed was comfortable and very clean. The Breakfast was basic but enough. What made this hotel stand out for us was the attention that the small staff gave to the guests. The reception was helpful and patient with the endless direction questions, the breakfast attendant kept the guest requests accommodated and the tables clean and the checkout was quick and easy. There was a new person being trained by a (very tall, dark and beautiful) manager and you could tell that the guest experience was being highlighted. The location was within walking distance to Gallerie Shops and Opera complex. But it is located on a side street so very quiet. It was approx an 8€ taxi fare from the Gare du Nord, which made it a perfect launching point for our itinerary. Overall good experience and decent price by prepaying for room. Would stay there again for basic, freindly stay.

Decent experience

Check-in was easy. Internet is free but doesn't always work, you need to ask for a voucher at the reception desk. Staff speaks English, which is always nice. Small rooms, typical for Paris, however they were incredibly clean and the decor was up-to-date. WONDERFUL shower. Hair dryer was a bit on the funny side, but I didn't use it much. Overall, good location, close to 2 different Metro lines, helpful staff and fair price (for Paris).
