Friendly Confines
Our week at The Hotel Crayon was all we expected and more. The décor is wild and all of the staff members were spectacular. Probably the friendliest, most helpful group of people I have ever met. The rooms are cozy and clean. The Continental breakfasts have a wide variety of foods to choose from. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. The lobby has a nice comfy couch and chairs to serve as a rendezvous point along with a small bar for those who wish to partake. A fabulous place and fabulous employees.

Pleasurable weekend in Paris
I stayed in the Hotel Crayon for two nights on my way back to the US from a long business stay in South Africa. It was the perfect relaxing finish to my traveling. The staff were friendly and welcoming right away, and eager to help throughout the weekend. My room was on the top floor. It was very comfortable, with climate control, bottled water, cookies, and an extremely personal atmosphere. The bed was a highlight- It was so comfortable I was sure it was cuddling me. I purchased a bottle of champagne from the bar and the full breakfast on both days. The bottle and other items on the hospitality bar are overpriced (but I was willing to splurge) but the breakfast was very nice, with a lot of variety and very tasty food. The location was excellent; I walked everywhere from the Eiffel tower to Montmarte to the Ile St Louis. I spent the evenings walking along the holiday villages set up along the Champs Elysees. There is no shortage of good shopping, shopping, food, etc just steps outside the door. In fact, just downstairs was the perfect cafe with great atmosphere for a late night drink. On the morning that I left, Hotel staff very generously helped me contact my scheduled taxi, since I did not have my phone. The service was excellent.

Amazing Staff and Location
My wife and I just returned from a weeklong trip to Paris. Hotel Crayon was a great deal, with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. My wife left her wallet in the lobby the day we left in a taxi for the airport, and they called the taxi to come back! The location was perfect and we were able to walk to all the top sites in Paris. It is in a safe and clean location with a great café/bar on the corner. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, but was not big. We spent very little time in our room, but if you plan on being in your room a lot, it may seem small. So ask for a bigger room if that is important to you. I would stay there again, and recommend to my friends and family.

Amazing! J'aime Hotel Crayon
The best part of this hotel was the staff. They were such friendly people and they were willing to help you find anything. There was this particular young man at the reception desk who was awesome! He spoke english and was always friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean and best of all in a great location! The area was very close to the metro and all of the attractions. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great centralized place to stay in paris!

The night life seems to close early on saturday which is strange especially if you are from NYC. So make sure you go to bars and restaurants early i.e before 11pm.

Nice to be in Paris
Delightful stay
We had a very pleasant three night stay at this hotel beginning on September 17, 2011. While the newly renovated room we stayed in was small, it was spotless and pleasant. The staff, especially Didier, were very friendly and quite helpful to us. We highly recommend this hotel for value, convenience and good vibes. Would stay there again.

Nice stay in Paris!
Nice little boutique hotel re-designed recently. New bathroom, free wireless and LCD TV, amazing location a large plus. Very little to complain: very small room( not an issue for me), not a full bath( a little inconvenience). Overall, I would recommend. Thank you AdiP

Visit of a lifetime!
When we arrived, we found that the hotel was under new management with a new name and they were doing renovations. Even with all the surprises, we would stay here again. The owner/manager and his staff were the very best-courteous, kind and informative. Our room, while small, was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the neighborhood where we were staying, and all the important and fun sights of Paris were a short walk from our hotel.
