Amazing! J'aime Hotel Crayon
The best part of this hotel was the staff. They were such friendly people and they were willing to help you find anything. There was this particular young man at the reception desk who was awesome! He spoke english and was always friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean and best of all in a great location! The area was very close to the metro and all of the attractions. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great centralized place to stay in paris!

The night life seems to close early on saturday which is strange especially if you are from NYC. So make sure you go to bars and restaurants early i.e before 11pm.

Nice to be in Paris
Delightful stay
We had a very pleasant three night stay at this hotel beginning on September 17, 2011. While the newly renovated room we stayed in was small, it was spotless and pleasant. The staff, especially Didier, were very friendly and quite helpful to us. We highly recommend this hotel for value, convenience and good vibes. Would stay there again.

Nice stay in Paris!
Nice little boutique hotel re-designed recently. New bathroom, free wireless and LCD TV, amazing location a large plus. Very little to complain: very small room( not an issue for me), not a full bath( a little inconvenience). Overall, I would recommend. Thank you AdiP

Visit of a lifetime!
When we arrived, we found that the hotel was under new management with a new name and they were doing renovations. Even with all the surprises, we would stay here again. The owner/manager and his staff were the very best-courteous, kind and informative. Our room, while small, was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the neighborhood where we were staying, and all the important and fun sights of Paris were a short walk from our hotel.

great location!
staff are great, very comfortable, walking distance to all the sites! nice local for good restaurants too. Loved it and would return to same.

Couples Retreat
Walking distance to the main attractions. My girlfriend and I would go out at 1AM and there would still be places open in walking distance to hang out, or just take a walk to the Sienna River.

The Crayon Hotel
The Crayon Hotel, formally know as Hotel Louvre Forum, was mediocre at best. The hotel was under construction during our entire stay, and that information was not made explicit to us beforehand, so we had to deal with the noise and mess. The hotel did nothing to help us in the matter, even when we addressed it as a problem. I called the hotel twice and emailed them three times before the trip to have them arrange a pick-up from the airport to the hotel (which is a standard practice). The hotel never booked a car to have us picked up and didn't remember us ever contacting them. The hotel does not provide fridges in the rooms. The hotel does not have a top sheet that separates the bottom sheet and the duvet. Gross. Breakfast is not included, but they do not make that explicit in any way. So we went to breakfast for the first three mornings thinking that it was complimentary. They charged 24 Euros each day for this breakfast, which was probably worth 3 euros, not exaggerating. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great stay!
they were doing some renovations to the lobby during our stay, but that didnt bother us at all. Rooms were good size for Europe, modern, and comfortable. Walls were a tad thin, you can hear neighbors and elevator running, but overall a very nice stay. Location was great, a few blocks from the Louvre and shopping. Must try cafe musee on kitty corner from the louvre, roadside Crepes to die for. Will come again!

Hotel Louvre Forum worth it!
Amazing place to be in the backyard of Louvre Museum! Very good clenning and attention from all the hosts! Makes you feel very confortable and they are keen in giving you instructions to all types of touristic plans in Paris! Strongly recommend it!

Use Velib´the Paris public bicycles system for rent. You pay only 1.7 euros for membership of one day and you use it to travel all around Paris quick, easy and free as long as you return it back before each 30 minutes (but you can take it back inmediately and there are more than 200 parking facilities around Paris). Awsome system! and also Eco-friendly!
