Hotel Belloy Saint Germain

The hotel is cramped (as are many hotels in Paris). The hotel did provide "free" breakfast and a glass of champagne. Location is great and the rooms are clean. My main complaint is from an incident with the staff. I called the front desk the night prior to leaving, requesting a late checkout. The gentleman said it would be no problem at all. The next day, the front desk stopped me and asked why I had not checked out. The man proceeded to give me attitude about this. I told him my conversation with the staff the night prior, but he said that I should have known better than to check with the night crew desk staff. He was pretty nasty about this. He did apologize later, but I did not appreciate that he treated a customer in this manner.

The Bellroy St. Germain was the ideal Paris location. Very close to several Metro stations and plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The first room we had faced an internal lightwell (and brick wall). We asked for another room and the next day another became available and we were allowed to move. The rooms were somewhat small with minimal closet or storage space. The biggest issue was that neither of the safes in either room work. The hotel staff staff could not get them to work and they could not find the key to the main safe behind the desk. We felt a bit vurnable not having our document and cash / credit cards unsecured during our stay. Fortunately nothing happened. Otherwise it was a great location and I would stay and reccommend others to stay at the Bellroy St. Germain.

Il n y a que sur la plaque a l entrée que les 4 etoiles ont leur place.... Peu de personnel, mini bar qui ne fait pas de froid, buffet petit dejeuner digne d un Ibis avec vue directe sur la cuisine... pas de chocolat en poudre pour ke petit dej... par conte rien a dire sur la propreté... Bref un tres bon 3 etoiles bien place dans Paris mais pas plus...

La chambre exigue mais propre, seulement 6 chaines tv françaises, un mini bar qui ne fait pas de froid donc des boissons a température ambiante,salle de bain exigue mais très propre et bien équipée, un buffet petit dejeuner plus proche d un Ibis que d un 4 etoiles, pas de chocolat en poudre de dispo, des aliments tres basiques mais une salle propre . un personnel sympa mais pas au niveau d attente d un 4 etoiles. Bref c est d'un très bon 3 etoiles mais pas au dessus... Cela reste cependant une bonne adresse.... Métro ligne 4 et 10 à 2 minutes a pied

When arriving to the hotel we were surprised to notice that our hotel wasnt four stars as it were on the website, it was only three. But that is just a minor minus. Staff was ok, knew some english and was friendly enough. Room was deluxe room, imo it was very cousy. I enjoyed staying there minus was the bathtub which was filthy, but aren't those always? Little disturbing was odd smell in the hallway and breakfast in the "restaurant" which had bread that had spider web all over them. Otherwise very good place to stay for a tourist, near enough to Notre dame and only little walk to the Seine of course. Close to metro station. Hotel is close to very busy street St. Michel which may not give you a good night sleep. Allthough we slept good, but only maybe because we walked almost everywhere for sightseeing and we wwere deadbeat by the nights! :)
