WOULD LIVE THERE!!

From the second I passed through the two enormous urns of white blossomed flowers flanking the entrance to the hotel I knew I had made the correct choice! I was offered an upgrade to a deluxe room for a minimal amount and grabbed the opportunity: A large bright newly renovated space with a balcony overlooking charming R. St. Roch and the Tuilleries! The gleaming large bathroom was spotless. I ordered room service continental breakfast while unpacking which arrived on a large silver tray within minutes. My five night stay could not have been more restful. The location is incredible. Five minute walk to The Louvre. Steps from chic R. St. Honore. Myriad of restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy within seconds of the front door. Would return and recommend in a flash!!

Go for the fresh croissants etc. at the Patisserie on the corner and the coffee maker in the room instead of the pricey breakfast in the hotel dining area.

Great time in Paris - this hotel was perfect

This hotel is in a perfect spot for the first-time traveler to Paris. I was only a few blocks away from the bus tours (hop on and hop off at main sites in Paris). So you didn't have to worry about getting lost. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The hotel is in a safe area of the city. Everything about the hotel was great. The only drawback is because they are a small hotel the only meal served is a continental breakfast. But food isn't far away.

I had almost my whole trip planned before I got to Paris. I did a lot of surfing on the internet and decided what sights I wanted to see. Your cheapest transportation is called the Bato bus or Bato boats. You can get 1, 2, 3 day passes that are very reasonable. You can get off wherever you want to see the attractions and then get back on the bus. This was great for someone going to Paris for the first time.

Trip of a life time!

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel. It was exactly what we needed. The room was very clean and quite. The room was small but that is just a given in Europe, the bathroom was more than big enough for both my wife and I to get ready for our day and night excursions, also there was an endless supply of hot water. The room also had a safe that was large enough to lock up all our electronics and valuables that we didn't take out with us. As they say LOCATION, LOCATION, AND LOCATION. This Hotel had all of that and then some. We were a block from the Louvre, a block from the nearest Metro station, within walking distance of Notre Dame, and 1/2 a block from the Tour de France when it came through- Amazing!! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was under renovations, while we were there, but they were very courteous and did the best they could to work around hotel guests. The elevator was small but very interesting, large enough for two people, or one person and their large luggage. If you are expecting a spa type hotel experience this isn't it, however if you want an affordable, small, nice, and clean hotel that is in the middle of everything this is your place.

Turn right out of the hotel lobby and head up the hill. There is a small Authentic French resturant on the left. Amazing food and great staff! The best eats at the best price we had while in Paris!!! Also I wouldn't bother with the breakfast at the hotel, there is a small French bakery around the corner that has great pastries, and a small grocery store arcoss from that where you can get anything that you need for a good lunch.

Hotel Louvre Montana

The Hotel Louvre Montana is in a fabulous location! It's small and personal, and the reception desk staff was very helpful, especially Helene and Michael. Our room was small but nice. The only drawback was the lack of storage space. Instead of a chest of drawers, there was only a chest, so organization was key. When we go back to Paris, we would not hesitate to stay at the Louvre Montana.

Good Value - Great Location

We stayed at the hotel four nights. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is outstanding....just a few steps off the Rue de Rivoli, 5 minutes from the Louvre and a block from a Metro station. We would recommend this hotel.

Best Location in Paris

This hotel was perfectly located in the heart of Paris. Could walk to all major sites, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Bascillica Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsee, Champs d' Elyesse. Comfortable and clean hotel and we loved the antique lift. It was much quicker than any modern elevator there. Would have like more water pressure in shower but the room and bed were very comfortable. I will definetly stay there again if I travel to Paris.

It can be hard to find a taxi in front of the hotel because it is a narrow street but one block over is a taxi stand. Just ask the front desk and they will direct you where to go. It is almost impossible to stop a taxi unless you are at a stand.

Wonderfully helpful; incredible location

Staff provided directions, maps and suggestions in several languages. They were very helpful and prompt in service 24/7. The hotel was 50 steps from the Rue de Rivoli and right up the street from the Louvre, Tuilleries and Seine crossing to the Musee D'Orsay. The shuttle to Disney Paris was one block over. The Rue de Opera and road to the shopping at the upscale Printemp shops and Galleries Lafayette were less than a mile. The bus #72 , take across the street, took us to the Eiffel Tower and the bus driver chased us down to put us on the right bus - amazing. Five stops down the Champs Elysses was the Arc de Triumph and we walked back. It was cold and snowed one day, but we spent it inside at Notre Dame. A great vacation for a week with 2 13 year olds!
