de la vallee hotel paris
the personal(emploies) were helpful,honest and polite.i does not have elevator.i was in the4thf. the room was to small.it has and inclination in regard to ground about 30 degrees angle.consequently it was hard to control when ever you standing.it does not have air condition the only ventilation was the window.it was very noisy at nights coming from the saint denis route. i have to share the bathroon and the toilet with another tenants. it was clean and well located.

i have to climb 5 floors to get into my room .i believe i reuest a room with good ventilation ,elevaitor and bathroom.it did not have thoe facilities.

If you are someone who lets go by pictures dont trust this hotel its horrible and it dosent have individual bathrooms

Cheap and location convenient
Cheap and location convenient hotel. Took a room on the uppest floor a bit hard to climb all the stairs but it worth that! romantic view guaranteed! Nice staff/clean/ separated toilets/no free shower/ reasonable choice

Diamond in rough for right traveller
My vacation was based on sightseeing, museums, and photography. I was nervous about the location at first, being a single woman and finding the area had some Red Light district shops, etc. The hotel was under construction, so there was noise and dust. The carpeting was old and dirty, the baths are small and shared, there is a fee to shower. There are no elevators and my room was on the 5th floor, after reception, which is on the 2nd floor! Lots of stairs. Pack lightly! On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised at how conveniently located the hotel is to the metro and all the sights I wanted to see, just a few streets over from the Seine, near Notre Dame, etc. There are some great cafes and little shops in the area. I looked at the construction as improvements coming and imagine that it will be a lot nicer next time I go to Paris. The staff were very kind and helpful, and great to talk to. I felt comfortable there, because of them and the other travelers I met while staying there for 6 nights. I would definitely stay at Hotel De La Vallee on my next trip to Paris. I was barely in my room, except to sleep, and was happy to have the extra money that may have been spent on a "nicer" hotel, to use at area museums and cafes! It was a step above a hostel but having privacy and a safe place to keep my things while I was out exploring was important to me.

Low price but also low standard.
Low price but also low standard. Using shower is 2,50 Euro extra!! Good location (although alot of prostitution on this street) and friendly staff. Will probably stay elsewhere next time.

This hotel is close to Les Halles,
This hotel is close to Les Halles, the Pompidou Centre and many cafes restaurants and clubs and is inexpensive. A nearby club played loud music until 4am on Saturday night. It was quiet on Sunday night.The room was clean and had a washbasin and bidet and a TV. The shower (available at a charge) and the toilet were down the corridor. The concierges spoke good English. The stairs and corridors were narrow and twisted
