Comfort Hotel Lamarck

A good choice for a short stay in Paris. As usual the rooms are tiny but with a good shower and some cupboard space. Don't expect too much room for your suitcases but you can make do. Breakfast is the usual Paris fare and make sure you eat off your tray. The only downside is the gathering of youths on the opposite side of the road from the hotel and their loud conversations at night which can go past 3.00am on Friday and Saturday nights.

I just would like to commend the staff who assisted me during my brief stay in Paris, especially when I had encountered a problem (a cancellation of my flight) due to the strike that was held last Sept 23. The staff was very helpful and did all their best to assist my needs during that time. A very big merchi beacoup!

Very average no frills hotel. The room was small and the bathroom absolutely tiny but it did have a proper well-sized shower whch is more than I can say for most of the other hotels I've stayed at in France. Staff were friendly. Room had no aircon.

The room and bathroom (particularly shower) are so small - they would be small for single. I'd never stay here again.

-- In English -- Room very small, no fan or air cond. (very hot in summer), a bit noisy. The breakfast was very bad (disgusting croissants, no fresh bread...). I dont understand how this hotel can have 3 stars!! -- En francais -- Tres petite chambre, pas de ventilateur ou clim (donc très chaud l'été), un peu bruyant. De plus le petit-déjeuner n'est vraiment pas bon (croissants infects, pain pas frais,...). Bref, je ne comprends pas comment cet hôtel peut avoir 2 étoiles!!

Good location, Clean, good prices for short stay. near Metro affording easy access to the centre. Would happily stay there again.

our room was so small you could not store your suitcase never mind to unpack it, but the service was good and it was handy for the metro.

Very good hotel with central location near metro station. The price is also quite ok.

In our opinion the hotel and breakfast were good value. We were given a ground floor room at first and we asked to be moved upstairs which was not a problem. The upstairs room (4th floor) was much better and clean and comfortable. The problem we had was noise until 3.00a.m. each morning from about 20 youths who congregated each night across the road and seemed to be telling each other stories (very loudly) all through the night! Not threatening but not conducive for sleeping either. Perhaps a back room would be better. Day time reception very good and much better than when we arrived at 8.00p.m. The location of the hotel is excellent, very near to Metro, although steps to be negotiated, and also a pleasant (uphill) walk to Sacre-Coeur. Baggage store available - no kettle or hairdryer in room.

The hotel is very small.Breakfast was served everyday. The rooms are extremely small I could barely open my suitcase and would keep tripping or hopping over my luggage.There's train station next to the hotel so that's good.The staff is helpful but if you are looking for comfortable rooms , this is not the plac. If you want a cheap place which is tolerable this is it. No hair dryer in bathrooms , no room service no tea coffee maker.
