Fabulous couple getaway

My wife and I love to cook our own food and to have a place with a separate kitchen, and office space for me to work...Awesome, Awesome, Awesome...The staff is friendly but not to bright and I say that with kindness...Everything was perfect and of course I would always want things to be a bit less expensive but honestly the value was is way above the standard Parisian Hotel

Great location

Had a one bedroom apt with my wife and 2 toddlers. The staff is terrific and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. One manager in particular, Trinh, was wonderful. Our room had a kitchenette with working range, dishwasher, and fridge. Things were clean and neat and the location is terrific. The feel is not luxurious but is highly functional. For our family, it was just right. Location-wise, it's just a couple of block from the Notre Dame and easy access to both the Metro and the RER. Also just down the street from the Rue du Baci market and a supermarket. Best pastry place nearby is Gerard Mulot and being near chocolatiers Georges Larnicol and Patrick Roger is a real treat. Also, notable is that the hotel is steps away from the Latin Quarter which means it's lively late into the night. One bad thing is the wifi is a bit slow and uneven.

Perfect Location.

I took my fiancƩ here for a quick get away from NYC. Neither of us had ever been to Paris, so i wasn't really sure what to expect. We discovered that Citadines was in the center of it all! 10min walk to the Lourve, Orsay and Notre Dame. To be honest, we did not partake in much, if any of the hotel's amenities as we were always out and about in the city - you'll want to be out there too when you discover the fantastic neighborhood it's located in filled with great cafes and bars! It's also 2 blocks from the RER/metro which makes getting to other attractions around the city, and to and from the airport a breeze! Highly Recommended.

Very Good Apartment in Excellent Location!

The apartment was great and clean, the kitchen was kitted out so eating in was always an option. Staff were really nice and helpful, have nothing bad to say. The hotel location was fantastic as many of the city attractions were in walking distance. Would stay there again.

Buy bread and pastries from the local bakeries for breakfast, much cheaper than eating in the cafes.

Doesn't get much better!

Location was great. Easy stroll to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Metro / RER stations, the Louvre and multiple restuarants, cafes etc. Hotel and staff were fantastic. Was really great having kitchen facilities as we were able to do some of our own cooking. Supermarket was close by. Hotel was very clean. Only complaint was that running repairs hadn't been carried out in our room. Would highly recommend.

Get used to the Metro and train systems early on in your trip. Buy a 'carnet' which is a book of 10 tickets that saves you quite a bit of money. Metro stations are easy to find and simple to navigate.

Citadines near Fountaine les Innocents

When I arrived at my hotel, Citadines Prestige Saint-Germain-Des-Pres Paris, they did not have a room for me. The front desk said there was something wrong with their reservation system. He said they were moving me to another Citadines hotel near the Fountaine les Innocents. They put me in a taxi, which I paid for initially, but was reimbursed. The new room was great and I was also happy with the location near a pretty trendy shopping and dining area. The room was a top floor studio with a balcony from where I could see the Eiffel Tower. The staff were helpful and polite. So while the company may have screwed up my reservation, I believe they fully made up for it and would recommend the Citadines chain and espeically their location near Fontaine les Innocents.

Great Location to Many Attractions

Central location within walking distance to (St Michel, Le Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens, the Marais, etc.), other attractions and close to two Metro lines ... Staff was helpful in helping to select points of interest and sightseeing tours.. Much rain during our stay... Hotel provided umbrellas While our Studio Room offered no outside facing windows, it was very quiet There is no hotel gift shop or restaurant... pass up the 13 Euro self serve continental breakfast.. you can do better elsewhere

Finally some privacy from the kids!!!

Great location, very clean and comfortably large accommodation for a family. The best part was having some privacy from the kids since for the price of a hotel room you get a one bedroom apartment.

My earings were 'lost' from the room...

It is such a shame I had such a wonderful experience tainted by the cleaning staff of this hotel. The hotel is in a great location, steps from the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame and the Louvre and the one bedroom is great for a family. However, my mum went upstairs because she had forgotten something and the cleaner was already in her room and had opened her LOCKED suitcase. After she told me I went back up to my room to hide my valuables as best I could in the dirty laundry, I hid my earings inside dirty socks!!!...I could not find a pair of earings which had great sentimental and real value. Until I realized I didn't have my earings after leaving the hotel, I would have stayed there again but definately not now. I suppose if you have no valuables it is a good choice.

Great hotel but in expensive area

We stayed here in an aparthotel with our two college students. The rooms were spacious and roomy. The bed was larger especially compared to other European hotels. We stayed in the Latin quarter 4 nights previous to the night we stayed here. In this area, it's very artsy, and food and dining costs about twice as much as in the Latin quarter.
