great location but really noisy even on 5th floor

we loved the location but our room facing the Innocents Square/Fountain was noisy until late at night AND our air conditioning would not work because "it is still winter season". Well, that made most nights unbearable because it was warm and to open the balcony windows would have had us listening to the nightly parties in the square. Too bad, great staff- they did their best. also construction at the Forum Mall was LOUD during the day. Trying a different Hotel next time. p.s. breakfast was satisfactory but not special.

We did 4 Bike Tours which were the highlight of our trip which allowed us to cover many parts of the city. Since Paris is flat the biking was easy.

central location

the room was not tiny but, not exactly spacious either. the room had one window facing the park with a nice view and good morning sunlight. the bathroom was minuscule and a bit depressing. there was also a small kitchenette that was a bit aged and i never touched. would've been happier to have a larger bathroom and no kitchenette. the location was central and convenient, if not a bit too touristy. the staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. the cleaning staff for the room, not so great. breakfast was just ok.

Great spot

The location is great, right near the Chatelet stop, and within walking distance of a lot of amazing places in Paris. The hotel is beautiful, very modern, clean, and super super easy. I had a great stay and would happily recommend it to friends. Loved that it's hotel/apartment-like, it made me really happy to have a fridge/kitchen setup.

Good safe location for family

Stayed with family for four nights last week. Hotel is clean. Staff was cheerful and very helpful. Location is nice and central to museums and Notre Dame cathedral. Nice convenience store next door. Lots of good eating places around. Twin beds were nice and firm; even the sofa-bed was nice to sleep on. Bedroom is small, and the apartment feels very small for four people, especially if you are used to the hotels in the United States. There is a bit of construction going on outside the hotel which hampers the view. One of the the two elevators in the hotel continued to malfunction all through our stay. The daily service includes fresh towels, but they do not clean the floor or load the dishwasher. Overall good value, on account of good location.

Oooh La La Paris Hotel

We loved Citadines right in the heart of Les Halles Arondissment in Paris. It was close to restaurants, and the Metro. The room was convenient, clean and very Parisian. The breakfast bar was yummy with very substantial breakfast items and delicious croissant and cafe au lait. The supervisor was a bit of a task-master in that we were required to say Bonjour upon entering or we would be reprimanded, but we accommodated nicely since we were (after all) in Paris, and really wanted those croissants! I would stay in Citadines again most anywhere in the world

Excellent hotel. Only a few minor details...

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right by a major train stop (Chatlet-Les Halles), it is super easy to get anywhere. The shops and restaurants close to the hotel are good as well. There is some construction in the area, but it never bothered us for the week we were there. The staff was good, and was always accommodating to the fact that my ability to speak French was very dated. The room was somewhat average, but clean and had everything we needed. It was smaller than what we were used to in the US, but was fine for two. Two helpful hints: 1. They do have a laundry room there (called "launderette"), but it will cost you 9 Euros to wash and dry each load (pretty expensive, but it will let you pack lighter!) 2. Even if your itenerary says "Includes taxes and fees" like our itenerary does, we were charged 3 Euros per day for "Local Tax with VAT" upon checking out. While it seems like a small amount per day it does add up, and it was a little disheartening that this wasn't disclosed anywhere up front. Overall, when I return to Paris, I would gladly stay here again.

Fun Time

The hotel is located perfectly to walk to The Louvre, Notre Dame, tour companies, endless shopping and cafes and more in minutes. Also the subway is located right outside. Our room was a one bedroom apartment suite. Being Paris, it was smaller like NYC boutique hotels, but it worked well for us and our 9 and 6 year olds loved it. It came w/a fully stocked kitchen w/fridge, range, microwave, dishes and other appliances. Only drawback was that, one could hear some of the late night revelers on the Fri and Sat nights through the closed windows. But, that was a minor inconvenience.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Lots of cafes nearby, but expensive given the weaker dollar these days. So take full advantage of your kitchen and make breakfast (atleast). Kitchen was a lifesaver w/kids. Grocery store is also down the street.

A Parisdelight

The highlight of this hotel is it's great location, central to everything. Nice comfortable lounges to meet guests, helpful staff, Could be roomier. No room to walk around bed or sofa when open for extra guests. Although comfortable for sleeping, noise from hallway could be improved.
