Buttes Chaumont

Nice overall

Would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. The staff were not helpful at all. We asked for a baby cot to be provided, this was not available and we had to purchase one ourselves. The rooms were very small, could not open door to bathroom fully, had to walk past bed to get into bathroom.

Overall good but I only stayed for one night!

I stay at this hotel when I visit Paris. The accommodation is basic, and a little disappointing that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, this is more than made up for by the friendliness and helpfulness at reception. Breakfast consists of delicious bread rolls and jam, with coffee/tea/chocolate and orange juice on a help yourself basis. The lift to the rooms is small, maximum two people who should be close friends. Whatever, I like this hortel, it suits me. Located close to the Juares Metro it's ideal as a base to explore Paris.

Réservation chambre non fumeur non validée, la chambre puait... moquette peu propre, salle de bain salle, baignoire bouchée, pas de verre, équipement cassé, porte de chambre bruyante, rideau salle, réglage du chauffage cassé (poignée), mobilier de mauvais goût, hôtel mal fréquenté (très bryant), pas d'isolation entre les chambres, petit déjeuner modeste, très mécontent

+ Personnel très accueillant. Hôtel bien situé. - Beaucoup de bruit, intérieurs et extérieurs. Salle du petit déjeuner réduite à sa plus simple expression.

Entrée désagréable, bruyante la nuit, pas de chauffage au cinquième étage en plein hiver. Petit-déjeuner tard le matin. Pas possible de prendre un bain pour se chauffer, parce on ne peut pas fermer le baignoir.

Bon rapport qualité/prix. Chambre petite mais correctement équipée. Un seul problème : mauvaise isolation phonique : on entend les bruits des chambres voisines, escalier, etc.

Differently from the other experiences that we have had with people in Paris, the personal of the hotel is very friendly. The hotel values exactly the price: no more,no less. But be careful…here we go some little istruction to stay better at Buttes Chaumont! -If you can, don’t go to the last floor, because it rains in the rooms!!! -The elevator is too small, and when I say small, I mean that is for only one person. -The reception is on the first floor and the stairs are very unconfortable. -Brekfast is fine: is the typical parisien breakfast with tea, milk, coffe, bagette, butter and jam. The woman who prepares breakfast is very nice and helps you if you need something special, or if you want more. -The position is good because there’s a metro station few steps on. There are 2 big supermarkets, a mcdonalds, a chinese restaurant, and so on. So I can say that this hotel is fine for the people that don’t want to spend much money, and don’t pretend luxury!
