Good but too far and secluded
Hotel is basic. clean but not everything's provided. such as coffee, tea or water. yea, no bottled water. therefore the price is cheap. stay there only if u intend to visit the town which i'd say nothing much because u will be spending most of your time in paris central. and if u intend to go further to any other famous area such as madelaine, it's gona be 20 stations away, n it's gona take ur 45minutes alredy. 10minutes walk to the metro from the hotel timed. so if u don have that much time to travel back and forth, it's not recommended then. long walk, n bad idea if ur drunk.

if u have many luggage, pls dont take metro. taxi is about 25 - 30euro from central paris to hotel.. remember, not from CDG airport...

Great place to stay
The staff bent over backwards to serve us. We had spent a night there a week or so earlier, and they let us leave a lot of bags that made our travels much easier. There was a problem with one of our rooms, and the hotel was booked full. Nevertheless, they compensated for the snag, and all went well. The only disadvantage was that the location is quite a distance from the main tourist sights, and the metro going to that area was closed for repairs. But that was not the hotel's problem. I feel that for the security of the area and the price and service, the small inconvenience was worth it.

tired old place just fit for sleeping
This tired, out of the way place was old and worn. The desk staff were pleasant, but the breakfast unappetizing. It was a five block walk to the metro, and a loooong way from central Paris. Our Taxi driver could not locate it even after two calls for directions. The signage is non-existant.

Off the beaten path
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Had problems with the room air-conditioning. Not convenient for public transportation; total travel time into Paris 40 minutes via the metro system.

very pleasant desk staff
Despite the very pleasant & eager to please desk staff this hotel was much too far out in the suburbs. Complete disaster was averted by the existence of one of the best bistros I've ever has the pleasure to eat in. Chez Nadja is located directly acroos from the hotel & although I will not return to the Best Western I will return (next month) with friends to dine @ Chez Nadja.
