My husband and I were recently in Paris for my birthday and stayed here. It was a super cute hotel, modern, and very clean. The area is quite nice with many restaurant options, bars to grab a quick champagne that has more "locals" than tourists inside, and wonderful patisseries! I indulged in a chocolate croissant almost every day we were there at a bakery up the street toward the metro stop. You can easily walk to the Eiffel Tower from this hotel and the metro is a 5 minute walk. Very convenient. The only cons would be breakfast is not included and the mini bar items are not free. The wi-fi however is free which was handy. The beds were super comfortable too :) All in all, a wonderful stay at the Ares Eiffel hotel.

Ask the hotel for recommendations, we ate at Le Zinc the first night and it was superb. Also, go to the Secco Bakery across from the metro stop (everything is DELICIOUS there and perfect for take away quick breakfasts on the go).

Perfect Boutique Hotel for the Weekend
Room was small but beautiful and comfortable with boutique style touches. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only a 5 min walk from Tour Eiffel and easy reach of underground so location excellent. Perfect for a couple's retreat.

Great location in local residential area.
The hotel "superior" room was beautiful, very clean. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Hotel is within a 10 minute walk of the Effel tower! Only negative is the winding stairs to get to and from rooms. No elevator. Sharon, Melbourne FL

25th Anniverary in Paris
The hotel went beyond our expectations. We presumed it was a nice boutique hotel somewhere near the Eiffel Tower . It ended up being close to the Tower which was AWESOME but also some great restaurants, 3 lines of the Metro and more! Couldn't have found a better place to have romance , peace and quiet if you needed it, beautiful cobble stoned avenues to walk along. I'd definitely stay here again when we return one day to Paris!

Use the Metro multiday pass. It's affordable, easy and goes everywhere you need to, even at a moments notice for ice cream at Berthillon's for instance!

Great hotel, great area, awesome staff
Our room was on the small side (this coming from an American who is used to oversized rooms), but had everything we needed. Bathtub was huge, with two big sinks and nice mirror. Had a queen bed, tv, hair dryer, complimentary slippers. The staff was super friendly and all spoke perfect english. We forgot a FR->US power adapter and a corkscrew (must haves for any Paris vacation), and the desk was able to provide both. The wifi worked great (just ask for one code for each device you want to connect). Location was a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower; close enough to make it a nice walk, but far enough there arent junk vendors hounding you. The local restaurants are all great and American-friendly, and the intersection of Motte-Piquet and Grenell (your likely Metro stop) is the start of a shopping district with a lot of small boutiques flanked with larger stores (Monoprix, Gap) to satisfy any forgotten luggage needs. There didn't seem to be room service (didn't look for it), and we never checked to see if they had an iron (though there was laundry service). Check in/out was painless, and we loved everything about the room.

high quality, helpful staff
It was a great room at a great price. Quiet location but close to busy streets and metra. The staff was professional. Cleanliness was impeccable. Rooms were very large and had modern bathrooms. We did not have the hotel breakfast, but enjoyed many delicious cafes and restaurants nearby. It was nice to use the hotel computer to check e-mail.

Very nice hotel
The hotel was very nice. The rooms were small, but very clean and we weren't in Paris to stay in a room the whole time so who cares. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. I would stay there again and recommend it.
