Baroque meets contemporary design in the heart of Paris

Ares Eiffel merges baroque and contemporary style in a chic boutique setting. Every room makes a statement, starting with the shimmery breakfast room decked out in red scroll chairs, to the guest rooms, which focus on texture, lighting and high-end accents by European designers. Visitors also have access to a nearby fitness facility.

Highlights
  • Luxury boutique hotel within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower
  • Multiple transportation options nearby
  • Designer European furnishings in rooms, including Versace tiles and Poltrona Frau furniture
  • Breakfast buffet served daily
Location

Travelers whose itinerary includes stops at the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero find Ares Eiffel a convenient choice--both landmarks are within walking distance from the hotel. Multiple transportation options, from the Metro to the bus, operate nearby as well.

Rooms

Ares Eiffel sparkles with European elegance in rooms fit for fans of the boutique chic aesthetic. Bold patterns--like gold jacquard and brown scroll prints--play with soft textures to create gilded glamour.

Furniture by Italian brand Poltrona Frau and designer tile by Versace enhance the chic accents, including the unique TV stands holding up the Bang & Olufsen flat-screen. Guests choose from classic, executive, deluxe and superior layouts, which count Internet access, mini bar, safe and room service as common amenities.

Dining

Ares Eiffel proves that style does not have to come in large packages. The breakfast room, where guests dine on cereal, Kaiser Viennese pastries and fruit salad from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily, sparks with visual pop thanks to stark white walls with raised scroll vines winding throughout, dark scroll floors and red scroll chairs. A spacious lounge featuring chairs by Italian brand Poltrona Frau and handcrafted cocktails pours on parlor appeal.

Recreation

Ares Eiffel ensures that guests have access to exercise facilities during their trip. A nearby gym equipped with cardio and weight machines, plus a Hamman and sauna, invites visitors to work out and pamper at no extra charge.

Great hotel, great area, awesome staff

Our room was on the small side (this coming from an American who is used to oversized rooms), but had everything we needed. Bathtub was huge, with two big sinks and nice mirror. Had a queen bed, tv, hair dryer, complimentary slippers. The staff was super friendly and all spoke perfect english. We forgot a FR->US power adapter and a corkscrew (must haves for any Paris vacation), and the desk was able to provide both. The wifi worked great (just ask for one code for each device you want to connect). Location was a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower; close enough to make it a nice walk, but far enough there arent junk vendors hounding you. The local restaurants are all great and American-friendly, and the intersection of Motte-Piquet and Grenell (your likely Metro stop) is the start of a shopping district with a lot of small boutiques flanked with larger stores (Monoprix, Gap) to satisfy any forgotten luggage needs. There didn't seem to be room service (didn't look for it), and we never checked to see if they had an iron (though there was laundry service). Check in/out was painless, and we loved everything about the room.

high quality, helpful staff

It was a great room at a great price. Quiet location but close to busy streets and metra. The staff was professional. Cleanliness was impeccable. Rooms were very large and had modern bathrooms. We did not have the hotel breakfast, but enjoyed many delicious cafes and restaurants nearby. It was nice to use the hotel computer to check e-mail.

Very nice hotel

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were small, but very clean and we weren't in Paris to stay in a room the whole time so who cares. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. I would stay there again and recommend it.

Hotel Ares is Hidden Gem

We celebrated our 30th anniversary in Paris and couldn't have found a better place to stay than Hotel Ares Eiffel. A small, Parisian hotel in the 15th arrondissment which is basically a residential area. Our room was beautifully appointed and the bathroom was large with double sinks. The English speaking staff were very helpful in recommending wonderful restaurants just around the corner. Many cafes and shops are nearby as well as the metro which was easy to navigate. Most of the time we walked as the city is so beautiful. The Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars are a 10 minute walk. We would definitely return to Ares Eiffel on our next visit to Paris.

Be sure to purchase the Paris Pass online before you travel. This will save you time not having to stand on long lines for the museums and attractions as well as the metro and hop on/hop off bus.

Excellent accommodations

This was a last night in Paris after a 2-week jaunt throughout France. It was the nicest room I have ever had in Paris -- with a Hermes bathroom design, and a luxurious bed. In a residential neighbourhood, so it was very quiet at night, but close enough to be at the Eiffel tower in 10 minutes. Good, uncomplicated restaurants around.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

We took a dining boat on the Seine for 2.5 hour dinner starting at 8PM, which was both delicious and fabulous. We rarely do tours, but this one was a very classy outfit, and rested our weary feet while giving us a chance to see Paris at night. The food and wine were excellent. The tour company is on the north-east side of the Eiffel tower (right at the feet of the tower) on the docks.

great place

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, and sights near the Seine. Several reasonable brasseries were within a couple of blocks, as well as a metro stop with several lines. The only drawback was that the rooms weren't terribly sound-proof. Overall, a great experience.

Cute but costly!

Very well decorated, pix on the internet are representative. Price for tiny room was quite high and "classic" room was so small we had to hang clothes on shower rod in bathroom. Other than relatively high price, the place was great. Free use of excellent fitness center is a plus.

Excellent!

This hotel was our choice for a honeymoon. It couldn't have been a better pick! Hotel Ares has an excellent staff! Very helpful and English speaking. The rooms were spotless every time. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The only negative thing I could say about Hotel Ares is that breakfast isn't included in the daily rates. But, really, thats just a minor inconvenience. Highly suggested!

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Very short walk to the Eiffel Tower and to any retail or grocery shops. Also, a lot of restaurants are very close by.
