Tucked between the Place de la Rpublique, the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est, just a few minutes' walk from the Grand Boulevards, the Marais district and the Opera and a few minutes by metro from the Champs-Elyses, the Eiffel Tower and the Sentier (garment district) in a quiet side-street, the Hotel L'Annexe, housed in a late-nineteenth century building in the heart of Paris, offers you peace and quiet and a welcoming atmosphere in attractive, restored surroundings. The Hotel Annexe will immediately put you at your ease and you will feel at home right away. It offers modern rooms (direct phone line and TV), a lounge... and the staff will be attentive to your every wish. They will be happy to suggest a good restaurant, give you ideas for excursions, advice, etc.

Each room has double-glazed windows ensuring good soundproofing from inside the room and from the outside. The hotel is located in a one-way side-street which is partially closed at one end. This means that traffic and footfall are both reduced even during the day - at night, there will be no engine noise to wake you or disturb your sleep. One third of the rooms overlook a private courtyard on the other side of the building.Each room is equipped with hair dryer, privat bathroom (shower) & toilets. Iron and Ironing board are available on request. Bed size 2 beds 90x200 for Twin rooms or 140X200 for double bed.

Not a great experience

When we checked in, we were told that the hotel had been overbooked and we were given an upgrade to the Hotel Taylor which was connected to Annexe Hotel. We were taken out the back door to a patio with french doors, which was our room. The room was lofted with a bed upstairs and the bathroom and small sitting room downstairs. The loft space was 5 feet floor to ceiling at the highest point. There was no room number outside and we came to the conclusion that it was the maid quarters. There was a heater that ran constantly making the loft space incredibly hot. Our room wasn't cleaned the entire time we were there and although we asked for towels and toiletries the second day, we weren't given any until the last day we were there. The location was decent with a five minute walk to the metro and 10 min walk to Pompidou. I would recommend looking for another hotel before booking this one.

Good enough for the price and location

The room is small, but with the price and its location, it's good enough. The staff was helpful. The hotel provides the free internet access only on the lobby, but I actually could use it in my room too.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff. Nothing else is good besides this!!!

für Kurzurlaub gut gelegen in der city

kleines Hotel mit Anmeldung im nachbarhotel (Hotel Taylor) kleine aber ausreichende Zimmer mit nur einem etwas zu kleinem Bad aber noch Aktzepabel Gute Lage von wo man überall hinlaufen kann oder mit Metro sehr gute anbindung (Station Republic nur 250m entfernt) würde für kurz/Wochenend Urlaub wieder hinfahren

Mkt. enkel standard

Trevlig engelskspråkig personal i receptionen. Total avsaknad av krokar i både rum som duschrum.Ingen möjlighet att hänga handdukar ,necessäroch dyligt! Trasig upphängning av duschdraperi,. Vi fick be om toapapper, tandborstglas,kaffepulver,och ansiktshanddukar.Mkt. dålig sängbelysning,svårt att läsa i sängen. Rummet mkt. trångt! Personalen verkade gå mellan frukostserveringsaktiviteter och städning av rum, utan att byta rock! Trapphus mkt. dåligt upplyst, med vissa trappsteg som var lösa bräder på.

Für einen kurzen Paris-Trip absolut

Für einen kurzen Paris-Trip absolut empfehlenswert. Zentrumsnah am Place de la Republique. Betten o.k. Sauber - und vor allem: In einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstrasse, so dass man auch im Sommer bei offenem Fenster schlafen kann.

Hôtel de très bon confort et situé

Hôtel de très bon confort et situé dans une ruelle très calme. Salle de bain avec douche WC et lave-main dans la chambre très propre mais très petit. Prix de la chambre assez cher suivant la saison et petit-dej à 10€/pers en supplément de la chambre.

Très belle déco et hotesse très

Très belle déco et hotesse très charmante. Dommage que l'aménagement de la chambre n'ait pas été vraiment réfléchi : valait mieux avoir un gabarit S ou XS pour pouvoir accéder au WC et l'écran de télé placé très haut était obstrué par le placard placé devant (1/3 de l'écran invisible vu du lit). Manquait une table aussi dans la chambre.

la jeune femme de l'accueil est

la jeune femme de l'accueil est charmante et très serviable et réactive lors d'un problème. Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur et ne mérite vraiment pas son prix..dommage
